This was almost our favourite of the Everest Summit Lodges we stayed in. It had the usual ESL treats - proper beds, good food, tea and cakes but only hot water bottles in the bed and no electric blankets - oh well. But the staff here were probably the friendliest of any of the hotels and we were warmly welcomed... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about us. Insufficient power supply, does not let us provide you with electric blankets here. We try to achieve the same results using hot water bags, which you may ask for as many as you want. We spent a lot of time in training and is good to know you were very... More

The setting is idyllic, in a remote area with amazing sceneries around. The building is very well maintained, ecological with all amenities needed. The rooms have wooden floors and are big so that I could practise my yoga. The food was excellent, local cuisine was served including a soup, a main dish and a desert. In the afternoon, they serve... I booked this through Himalaya Expeditions during my Everest Marathon 2013 event. Definitely want to have a proper bed and warm shower if you are doing a marathon. ROoms are adequate - beds very comfortable - breakfast great with a good porridge,

Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The location is idyllic, very remote with fantastic views of many of the mountains. The staff are first class, as is the food. The rooms are quite adequate, although not heated. They do provide hot water bottles at night (2 in each single bed!) and the dining area is heated throughout... More

Stayed one night at this lodge in Tashinga. Quality was comparable to the Yeti Mountain lodges that we stayed at for most of the trip. Rooms were clean and comfortable, they are unheated but you are given hot water bottles which makes all the difference. Common areas were only heated during dinner so were very cold the rest of the... More

Stayed here two nights after treking from Namche Bazaar - went to Tegboche from here. The lodge is off the main route from Namche to Tengboche - up a hillside, so it feels very remote and the views from the garden are amazing. The rooms were comfortable, - good shower, western toilet, hot water bottles at night and flasks of... More
