Just got back from three nights at the Charikot Panorama Resort, my fourth visit. We were out during the day on a film shoot, but thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views during breakfast and the amazing dinners. The beds are good, the dog Jesse is sweet, and I love just about everything about this place. We asked for packed lunches and they accommodated us grandly. And I just wrote to ask for the recipe for the salad dressing and they replied within minutes, WITH the recipe!
Beautiful location with an excellent view of the mountain range. The rooms were very cosy, bright and clean. The bathroom had good shower! The food was great and most of all the staff were very warm and welcoming. They have a lovely friendly German Shepherd - Jessy! We hope to go back there soon.
Awesome and well maintained place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Nice rooms , clean and nice view. Breakfast was good and the people are really nice. The place is well maintained and has everything you need.
I've been coming here for the past three years and Charikot Panorama Resort never disappoints! The location is quiet and pristine, the views are stunning, the food is gourmet by any standards (let alone for rural Nepal). The kitchen caters well to dietary restrictions, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the common spaces are comfortable and always have fresh flowers. Whether it's watching the sunrise over the himalayas on the lawn with fresh-brewed coffee, or a lazy afternoon reading in a hammock or the lounge chairs next to the plunge pool, or late nights chatting around the campfire or in the sauna, there are so many nooks around the resort that facilitate resting, recharging, and connecting. On top of the impeccable and well-designed facilities and world-class cuisine, it has to be the personalized service and attention that keeps me coming back. The owners and staff are friendly, proficient in English, and go out of their way to make sure each guests' stay is special. I haven't seen this quality of customer service anywhere else in Nepal.…
Had a lovely first time in Charikot, it was a great way to get out of the hustle and bustle. The long and bumpy drive is very much worth it. Its a great way to spend some down time. We also went up to Kalinchowk which is a 1h30 min drive away- where we went up the cable car, saw some insane mountain vistas and even tried skiing!! To round it all off we had a very heart warming dinner and went to the sauna to relax. Felt like a very swiss chalet in the middle of the Himalayas! Just heaven.
