Naries is situated in a gorgeous location, we stayed in the the suites, which had amazing views and were totally thatched from ceiling to floor level with balconies overlooking the desert. The suites were huge but had a small double bed in, which was a shame. It was our most expensive stay on our trip and the only place where... More

Booked two mountain suites - one for our daughter and one for hubby and me. These have got to be the most unique wonderful places we have stayed!!! The sunsets in the evening from the units are magical, as is the pure silence and wonder of the estate. We were a little early for the wildflowers (sadly) - but so... More

Excellent staff , very comfortable rooms and superb food ! The view from their lapa must be the best sun down in the region ! The flowers and vegetation on this farm was beautiful! Naries is a very central to travel to i.e. Nababeep , Okiep and Springbok .

We travelled here with relatives who had organised our trip ,and this was our first stop on our two week holiday after our over night flights and then internal flight to Upington it was fantastic to stay in this lovely farmstead. The food was excellent the solitude after a hectic flight schedule was very welcome and the sundowner at the... More

We stayed in the mountain cave, everything was perfect, the sitting room, the bedroom, the beautifull with bathroom and outside space. Naries is situated in coppermining area and therefor you see it back in the details (lamps, shower, taps) We stayed half board, great dining and wine list. Its tranquill and a real retreat. Take the bottle of sparkling wine... More

After a long drive we arrived at Naries Retreat. What a spectacular setting! Our cottages, next to one another, were comfortable, clean and spacious with everything one could need! We decided to have dinner at the Lodge, what a great decision as the meal was excellent! This retreat was voted our best in a long road trip and one we... More

We stayed for two nights in January 2016 during a 24 night/15 location road trip, so this trip is relatively objective. As others have commented, the property is isolated, and perhaps all the better for it - absolute peace, quiet and great scenery - bliss. The Manor House was fully booked for our stay, so we took a s/c cottage,... More

Excellent service, very comfortable rooms and squeaky clean. We used it as a base while filming the Spektakel Pass between Springbok and Kleinzee. The area is starkly beautiful but really comes alive after the first spring rains when the wildflowers are in bloom.

Our party of three couples met up at Naries after we had all travelled from afar to holiday in Namibia together. We thought that two nights at Naries would be a good place to re-group and rest before our adventure - our expectations were exceeded! We all stayed in the manor house and mostly had the place to ourselves. We... More

This is a lovely spot worth staying in whenever you're in Springbok. Staff are friendly, professional and very welcoming. The accommodation is homey and comfy with soft glowing crackling fires for warmth in the winter. Our compliments to the chef. The menu is small but discerning and tasty with a very good selection of wines. The Kalahari around this region... More
