A wonderful two-night stay at The Granary whilst we were attending the Green Man Festival. The Granary is in a peaceful but usefully accessible location, and the facilities are everything you could wish for in a guesthouse. The hosts were both friendly and professional, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. Our room was... More

Just had a lovely 2 night break at The Granary which is a gorgeous property ideally situated for exploring surrounding area and very close to Black Mountain Gliding Club. Joyce was very helpful suggesting places to eat and places to visit. Our room was very clean and had lovely touches like soap, shampoo, hot and cold drinks and use of... More

Situated just above the picturesque village of Talgarth The Granary makes an excellent base for visiting the area. The house and garden offer beautiful views in all directions with the Brecons to the east and rolling Welsh hills to the west. Bedrooms are comfortable and immaculately clean and along with the peaceful surroundings afforded a great night's sleep. Joyce and... More

Just returned from a 2-night stay at The Granary for the Hay festival - wish it could have been longer. Everything was just perfect - welcome, bedroom and especially bathroom and breakfast. We'll definitely be back next year to play crazy golf!

We stayed at this lovely house for 2 nights. We were warmly welcomed by Joyce and her husband who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are luxurious, spacious and well equipped with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Although we were in the area for a wedding, it would be a... More

We stayed here for one night as we like to go back to Talgarth to visit my late dads hometown. Fantastic in all respects, rooms, breakfast, hospitality and welcome. Tea & cake after our journey from Brum and my other half mislaid his wallet which they kindly posted back when they found it. Will definitely be going back. Superb

Joyce and Ray was fantastic. My friend and I stayed at their place as first time visitors to Talgarth. As first time visitors we had no idea what to do or where to go in Talgarth and Joyce was extremely helpful. She took us to few attractions when she give us a ride between Talgarth and Abergavenny Station. The Granary... More

The Granary proved to be every bit as good as reported, especially the breakfast! This accommodation is comfortable, spacious and would form a convenient base for visitors to the Black Mountains Gliding Club. About 10 minutes walk up from Talgarth centre, just north of the old hospital.
