My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and it's the only place in Sri Lanka that we wished we had not wasted our time with. Yes, it's a long drive to the hotel but we didn't mind, expecting to be treated with a relaxing end of our holiday......but unfortunately we were wrong. When we arrived we were literally...

Stayed one night only due to our late planning and also this was a luxurious treat. First impression was very good with the sun setting and the views were just incredible. Lovely tea and biscuits upon arrival and then we went to the tent. Nice shower, toilet and sink area at the back. Big double bed, fresh tea leaves at...

Went here for our honeymoon. View from the tent was spectacular, nothing impressive other than for this. Service was not upto the the mark compared to similar priced hotels. This is a privately owned property and though the staff attempted to be helpful didn't come out as properly trained and professional. There was no room service and your tent is...

The location is incredible. As soon as you walk through the main building after the dizzying drive up, you'll feel genuine awe when faced with the breathtaking vista of the mountain peaks, clouds, colours. The tented rooms with their very large patios are conceived in a very thoughtful way with attention to details to make the experience as unique as...

So this was the first stop on our trip around Sri Lanka. Unfortunately its location was a little too breathtaking - my wife slipped while taking in the view and broke her ankle. While this was the low point of our truncated holiday, the staff at Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge were amazing in their efforts to help us. They...

It's now past midnight and I couldn't sleep because there is loud music from a village or temple close to lodge even after I put on my earplugs. I called the reception but nobody was picking up the phone. The security line person couldn't communicate with me in English. I understand there could be a festival but the issue is...

Wonderful scenery from the luxury tents overlooking the surrounding tea plantations and villages.remote location a plus and a minus - access is difficult requiring a 3 kilometere landrover trip as our car couldnot treach the Eco Lodge. It also mean't eating out was a no no - but the food was excellent . lovely infinity pool, again with superb views....

Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge is one of the best places I have ever stayed. My husband and I were staying in the suite which was extra special, but I am sure all other tents are great too. The scenery was out of this world, and the food and staff were brilliant. We also had a massage in the spa...

This wonderful place totally lived up to our expectations. Really wish we had booked more than the two nights. The service was excellent as was the food. Lots of activities available with a private and knowledgable guide. We went for a 2.5 hour walk around the tea plantation with the lovely Kumar and after rested our weary legs by the...

We stayed at the tea and eco lodge for 3 nights in March 2017 - it was peaceful, serene, and had unparalleled views! The accommodation is glamping like with full built private shower and toilet facilities and proper beds. The staff are excellent and ensured we were more than comfortable at all times through stay. We can recommend the mini...
