While we'd read mixed to not-too-flattering reviews about this in-hotel restaurant located in this 'pueblo magico' southeast of Monterrey we decided to give it a shot on a sleepy/rainy Saturday afternoon. While the drive was relatively easy and finding the restaurant wasn't difficult the service there was a bit overwhelmed (wedding patrons decided it was a good option after the...

My girlfriend took me here to try some good food and can I say it was worth the drive. Waiter was amazing and help me pick a good plate to try as well as my GF plate. We ordered the lamb and she had the mexican special. Both were delicious and the restaurant was good as we sat outside and...

We showed up in this quaint little village after noon on 24 December without a reservation... We didn't know if the hotel would have anything available, but they gave us wonderfully large room with a king-sized bed on the third floor. The window overlooked the ancient church and the door led to a spacious open veranda with perfect views of...

The hotel advised booking.com the day before but as my daughter was travelling, they did not know. The attitude of the hotel staff was appalling: not...

We went to Santiago, Nuevo Leon, to hike in the mountains and see the scenery. What we got was a fog that kept us from even seeing the mountains! As it turns out, I was happy to be there anyway, because the hotel is beautiful, the service good (but don't expect everyone to speak English), and the location couldn't be...

We hadn't planned to stay at the hotel and we only found out about it by accident as we were having lunch at Las Palomas Restaurant, as soon as we noticed we asked our very friendly waiter about the hotel and he said if we decided to stay they would offer us a 25% discount (at the hotel). After lunch...
