You will enjoy your stay with Janice. The room is set up for comfort with nice bath products, fruit and chocolate basket and a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast is perfect! Home made yogurt, cereals, fruit and if you still have room after the home made muffins and jams, Janice will cook you a full meal....

The view from the bedroom at all hours and in all weathers across the lake to the Mountains all around is truly memorable. This combined with a great property, warm welcome, quality rooms, bed and food make this a great place to stay

One of the best places we stayed in during our entire trip. We had a ground floor room (recommended for the super lake views) which was a good size and well equipped with fridge. tea, coffee etc. plus complimentary fruit and snack bars. An excellent cooked breakfast is served in the comfortable guest lounge. On arrival we discovered that our...

We stayed here for 2 nights on26/27th november 2012. We had a downstairs room and the views of the lake are gorgeous. The room is really spacious, very comfy bed, and tea/coffee facilities with little snacks and biscuits which is a lovely touch. There is a lounge for guests with a sofa, lovely views and a laptop for internet use...

We had a very warm welcome, a nice room and every day a perfect breakfast with selfmade marmelade and muffins was offered (best muffins ever had). The B&B is perfect located to visit Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound and it is far enough from the "standard bus tourist" - a relaxing surrounding.

Far more appealing than noisier Te Anau, Manapouri is a charming lakeside town on the edge of nowhere, the perfect place to spend a couple of nights when heading for the Doubtful Sound. Cathedral Peaks fits right in with this theme, being a delightful little B&B overlooking the lake and wihtin a 2 minute drive of your departure. I'm not...

We thoroughly enjoyed our night in Manapouri. We chose the B&B as it was close to the departure point for our cruise on Doubtful Sound. Janice gave us a very friendly welcome and even looked out some DVDs for us to watch as my wife mentioned she was in the mood to watch a film. She also gave us some...

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed this wonderful place. We had a lovely room with a picture window which overlooked the beautiful lake. Janice is a very friendly host with very high standards; her home is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. She enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge about the area and will help you book trips which are...

Janice had added thoughtful touches such as fruit juice, fruit and chocolates and an assortment of teas and coffee. The bathroom had lovely lavendar soap, body lotion etc and a towel warmer which...

I think muffins are great to eat at any time of the day. The 32 inch TVs in the down stairs rooms will make TV viewing a lot more enjoyable. I love the view from the top of the Circle Track but yes its a bit of a walk. I am happy you enjoyed your stay. Janice

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and Janice's place. We were showed to our room with the basket with "goodies", all sorts of nice things to eat. The upstairs room has a lovely view of the lake and the Hunter Mountain Range and quite different from the down stairs rooms. The 7am cruise does make for an early start but well worth the effort. I 'm pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Janice
