We stayed at the Green Dragon whilst attending the Edington choral festival a few miles away. the Green Dragon was an excellent choice. We had two rooms upstairs which were large and comfortable. I was in a room with two single beds and the bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom and loo were essentially en-suite as they were just... More

We came down to meet American friends who were visiting the area. We'd never stayed in an inn before and loved everything about it! It's a 17th century building so has wonky floors, low ceilings and beams which we just loved. Very dog friendly - our dog was given his own mat to sleep on and towel too! The food... More

Stayed here one night while visiting friends in the area. Arrived Monday evening and the place was busy! Didn't get one of the new rooms at the back of the pub but landed a charming quirky double room at the top of the pub itself. Uneven floors, ceilings and walls, huge bathroom with the longest bathtub I've ever seen (no... More

Stayed in one of the cottages at the back of the pub. Far from city life, the room offered an oasis and great base camp for exploring the area. With delicious meals at night and abundant breakfast options, it was perfect. The room is huge and likewise is the bath. Very well decorated with a high-end eye, but cottage feel.... More

We stopped at the Green Dragon for 3 nights whilst visiting family in the village and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Steve and Nicky (owners) were very accommodating and the food was a delight. Breakfast is whole and hearty, or light and fruity (depends on choice) and the baked eggs are a delight. We stopped in the old rooms within the... More

Good value traditional food. I wouldn't say they would win any awards for innovation but if you want good quality, value pub grub you can't go far wrong here. Traditional bar area with a separate section for diners and a nice beer garden at the rear.

My wife and I go here often. Good beer, good staff and good food. What more do you want? This is a proper community pub which truly is the centre of village life. The pub now has more rooms for travellers as they have now converted the barn in the car park. Thanks Steve and Nikki.

Booked this hotel due to its location, approx. 15 minutes from Stonehenge. After a hot day sightseeing, this place was a welcome stop. We booked a double room the rooms have newly been built and are not connected to the pub itself. They are just across the recently renovated car park and beer garden. The rooms are immaculate, spotlessly clean.... More

4 of us stayed in the newly refurbished courtyard accommodation whilst attending a wedding in the next village. Absolutely gorgeous family accommodation. Large room with plenty of space. Lovely modern decor with lots of finishing touches. Breakfast menu was superb. The full English was really nice with good quality ingredients. Highly recommend it
