We had a great stay at The Crossings @ Grasslands. The facilities are clean and the location is beautiful! It is literally right next to the park and with wide open prairies all around. Some of the tent sites are a little lumpy but workable, but the extras make up for this. They have a shared, covered, kitchenette/eating area with...

The Crossing sits on the edge of Grasslands Park West Block near 70 Mile Butte. Susanne and Neil have worked very hard to provide a comfortable place to stay whether you're in the light housekeeping rooms or camping on the edge of the park. We have enjoyed both in the past and just spent the weekend of Aug. 11 -...

We loved this place! It was clean, peaceful, serene, comfortable, with stunning views from each direction. The setting is incredible, with a small pond, making it a birder's paradise. Being only 5 km's from town, it makes for incredible night skies, to catch the aurora borealis, stars, and planets. Our balcony (on the 1 bedroom units) is on the lee...

My husband and our small dog recently spent two long weekends at the Crossings (April and May) staying in the suite above the garage. We love our visits to the Crossings. The suites are modern, bright and clean and have everything we need for a comfortable stay. We love to hike and bird and the Crossing at Grasslands is the...

If you like enjoying beautiful views and hiking all day but want a shower and comfortable bed at the end of the day, this is the place to stay when visiting the West Block of Grasslands. This is our third stay here and we plan on coming back. The new owners, Susan and Neil and very friendly and accommodating. Their...

We were looking for a quiet couple's get away, to celebrate the 2016 New Year. We got what we wanted and much more at The Crossing by Grasslands National Park. Neil & Susan our hosts are the greatest! Very friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They told us stories of the wildlife in the area - deer, coyotes,...

This was my second stay at Grasslands and my first time with the new owners, Neil and Susan, who were friendly and really helpful. My accommodation was clean and well outfitted for light housekeeping, which is what I wanted. Bed was very comfortable. This is a superb location to experience the prairie landscape, in all its aspects. Wide open spaces,...

We met the new owners who made us feel very welcome. The washrooms were very clean. The owners, Neill and Susan offered an extra comforter to a guest who was tenting because they knew it could get cool in the evening. Now that's hospitable. Oh yeah, they are also pet friendly. Make sure to bring a gravity chair so you...

I phoned Joanne a few hrs before arriving at Grasslands and she was able to accommodate me in a tipi for 2 nights ($20/night. It is $45/night at the park). She also provided a bed/bedding for an additional $10/night (clean sheets and she even used softener). Overall, I had a great experience at The Crossing Resort and highly recommend it!...

I spent a night in the resort's teepee camp in August 2015. The owners are a welcoming elderly couple but during our stay they were transferring the business to new owners to which they had sold their establishment. They'll continue living on the premises though. The teepees are rustic but well worth the experience; they are equipped with a wooden...
