A charming and rustic chic retreat for couples. I would not recommend for families with young children because the cabanas are high off the ground. I was there with my parents and my two children ages 3 and 6. It was very windy and the cabanas made a lot of noise which scared my children. Other than that the food...

The Parador is in lovely location - quiet, beautiful, secluded. Don't expect lots of activities or nightlife. Visiting the nearby canyons is definitely worth doing (though the weather is changeable and unpredictable - you may not get a view). I stayed in one of the larger tent/cabins and it was very comfortable, though pricey. The smallest tents would be fine...

Comfortable, good food, beautiful location, but shower missing in the rooms. Local attractions to be booked separately. Good service and very nice people. Horse riding recommended. If weather is good, Fortaleza dos Aparados is a must see tour.

We came to this place by chance, part through online reviews but mostly because it was on our way. If you are after a relaxing environment where you can sit back and disconnect, I cannot recommend the parador more. With its very charming, simple but luxurious cabins this was the perfect place to end our amazing trip. This place ticked...

This place is absolutely magic - and, as plenty of other reviewers have mentioned, like nothing else in Brazil. Location is great for visiting both canyons nearby, views are to die for, service very professional.

Very interesting setting of cabanas, some simple, some luxurious and spacious, in a marvelous natural environment. We recommend the luxurious and higher priced lodges, and we enjoyed the open fire place and even the jaccuzzi. The WiFi works in the lobby, the reception service is reasonable, the selection of food and beverages is moderate, but the service is very friendly,...

I stayed at Parador Casa da Montanha during a road trips with friends through Southern Brazil. This place is truly special. It is a luxury tented camp situated above a river and a very beautiful landscape. The tents were very well appointed with a personal hot tub on the deck, good toiletries, cute (if somewhat kitschy) wallpaper, complementary cheese and...

One need to understand why the Parador Casa da Montanha is so nice and mostly different from any lodging in Brazil. The hotel is owned by a turism entrepeneur with a vast experience with African Safaris. Mr Luciano brought his African experience and he built the fancy tents based on African finest lodges. Originally they had only fancy heated tents...

The employees are very easygoing and help guests a lot. There's a lot of activities to do around but, everyone is little bit expensive. If you are going by car, keep in mind that there's around very difficult 8 Km road just before reach the place.
