Mrs Francine has build herself. A little paradise and shares it with you. Nice cabins built over the water next a mangrove. Excellent food . A great place to relax and get away from it all. I am a 100% that you will relax and let your stress go. I highly recommend this little private island. Excursions can be done...

What a romantic place to spend my birthday with my husband. Francine was very nice and arranged for a boat to take us to a near by island with beautiful white sand beaches and blue water. What a romantic place to spend the morning. When we got back to Urraca Island she made us an amazing lobster dinner and a...

We were infatuated by the idea of a "private island", which left us completely unprepared for the experience. In fact, the Urraca Private Island is not very private nor is it really an island. If you don't like camping, you might not enjoy yourself here either. Don't get me wrong. This is a truly unique destination. I don't think you'll...

My husband and I stayed at Urraca for our honeymoon for four nights, as part of a week-long vacation in Panama. There are just not words to express how special a place Francine has created. The "island" is really just a mangrove, or cluster of trees rising out of the ocean. Huts and common areas are connected by decked walkways....

My wife found Urraca online and after reading the reviews she booked our trip there. While she had read everything she could find and had looked at tons of photos, I hadn't really paid a lot of attention to where we were going. Since it was our honeymoon, we knew we wanted something intimate. We wanted to go somewhere we...

We were fortunate to spend 4 nights at Urraca and wish we had stayed for our entire vacation. Upon our arrival in Bocas Del Toro, her boat captain was waiting for us as promised and took us on a very scenic ride to the island. It was a truly wonderful experience. Words are difficult to find for such an amazing...

We only went for a day trip to see the monkeys, but next time we will stay for longer. The monkeys, mangrove, and Francine were amazing. Francine was a lovely hostess who shared her little bit of paradise with us. A wonderful experience. I would highly recommend visiting.

It was a complete privilege to stay at Urraca and get to know Francine, the wonderful host. Her hospitality is truly heartwarming and she will make your stay completely memorable through phenomenal meals made from local ingredients (often pulled directly out of the ocean mere hours before it's on your plate), and her deep knowledge of the surrounding communities and...

Food: excellent. Ambience: magical. Service: fantastic. What can I say? Francine and the local staff and the monkeys (!!!) combine to make this one of the most amazing vacations I've ever had. You will never regret it.

4 friends and I came to Urraca and were blown away. Francine was wonderful. We happened to be the only guests that night so she gave us the option of having multiple huts or stay together in the larger hut in the back. We took the latter because it had a bar below and a private dock. The food was...
