This is the fourth season that I come to Bluebird. Both the guesthouse and the restaurant are excellent. For a true Goan experience this is the place. Note: TripAdvisor does NOT present the true rates of the guesthouse rooms, which in reality, range from 1,500 to 2,500 rupees per night. The prices quoted on TripAdvisor are three times the actual... This place is run by Anthony and his family. If you are looking for a traditional home stay kind of place..yet with privacy...this is the place. We were all girls and this place was really safe. Infact it almost felt like home. He is an excellent cook and i wonder how he doesn't get tired of cooking up meals...one after... More

Great place to stay in Vagator. Good food humble family and a quiet disposition of the guest house helps in unwinding. The main house is an old goan villa which has a few guest rooms. Opt for those if you have to choose, since the other rooms are mostly single rooms and aren't originally part of the main house facade.

We stayed at Blue Bird for a couple of days in February during a friend's wedding. After being unceremoniously evicted from another hotel (Shalom Guest House - read my review to know more), we walked around and found this place. The good folks at Blue Bird were kind enough to accommodate us as they had some rooms to let. We... More

The family who runs this guest house takes care of its guests. Antonio not only cooked delicious food, but also taught me how to make bhurji (indian scrambled eggs). He shared his enthusiasm for baking bread (because I asked, since this is also my passion). Though he just started making bread a few weeks ago, his bread is already very... More

Tucked away in a corner of vagator. A short walk will get you to the beach though. Really close to a market and a lot of other highly rated restaurants. Rooms are clean and neat. Bathrooms are neat as well with hot water showers. The cafe' attached to the guest house is a nicely well lit place with comfy table... More
