I truly did not expect the overwhelming experience I had at Cornacchino. The well trained, gentle and 'soft' horses were amazing, regardless of their size or breed. The unspoilt nature on the myriad of trails, whether on the closeby trails or further afield with an endless variety of wooded or agricultural areas is unrivaled. Flora and Fauna is abound and... I went on a one week trekking on horseback and had a very pleasant experience. The horses are well trained and experienced, the people are very nice and the ride was more than I expected. Each day offered something different: different challenges, breathtaking views, excellent food and pretty much anything you'd expect from a good horse trekking trip.

I had an amazing time at the Cornacchino. With great horses, nature all around you, relaxation, great food (and lots of it!) and great people, what's not to love? And, if you do feel like leaving the agriturismo for a day (which you most probably will not want to do!), you can find culture and history within a very short... More

We've never ride before, but we wanted to try. At the Cornacchino they carefully and friendly helped us not only to ride, but also to approach to these unknown (for us...), strange, big, funny, beautiful animals: horses! Weather was not so good, but we really enjoy the experience and our teacher has been very good: after only 2 lessons (we... More

Helpfull staff many of whom spoke great English. Nothing was too much trouble. All the meals were fantastic with very large helpings! The horses were well behaved and the countryside stunning. Was sad to leave for our pre planned weekend in Rome would much rather stayed for more riding and Tuscan hospitality.

We had a great week, good food, lovely horses, excellent accommodation. The downsides are that if the weather is cold and wet, as it was when we visited, the buildings feel gloomy and damp. The other customers were german and french, the germans were friendly but one of the french went out of his way to exclude those in the... More

Like the last reviewer, Jessica, I did the week-long trek and it was great! We stayed in the farmhouse for two nights at first, and spent a day riding in the vicinity to make sure our horses were a good fit. The first day included a delicious picnic with a fabulous lasagna. Then the next day we set out for... More

I've just returned from a wonderful week at II Cornacchino. Everything about it was fantastic.I stayed two nights at the farmhouse and then spent a week trekking in Tuscany staying in tents. The staff were wonderful - friendly, smiley, helpful and considerate. The location is stunning, the food gorgeous and I was made to feel extremely welcome. The horses are... More

We stayed at Cornacchino in July and recommend it highly to others. Everything exceeded our expectations. From the well-kept horses to the incredibly beautiful location & surroundings, to the friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and like family. Oh, and then there's the food! Delicious, and plenty! :-) The rooms are clean, with an enchanting rustic touch. When... More

We stayed in Cornacchino for one week and it was just amazing! The stuff is unbelievable friendly and you just feel like in a big family. The food was incredible delicious with four courses at least per meal and red wine included. The rooms are relative small but user-friendly and clean. The different buildings are in the middle of a... More
