Incredible place, magic location, fantastic food...one for the bucket list. We found having a car was useful, as plenty to see, ie Togo Bay beach club, water park in Gallipoli for the kids, Lecce etc. A good plan is to head out in the morning and then get back in time for afternoons by the pool, pre dinner drinks and... We stayed for a week in August with our 16 month old daughter and loved it. It is a very stylish place with delicious food and a very relaxed, low key atmosphere. I would say it is pretty much the perfect place to stay for a week. There isn't that much to do nearby (at least in August when the... More

I have been very lucky to have stayed in some lovely hotels but none of them impressed me as much as beautiful Masseria Potenti. I think it truly is my favourite ever hotel. It took us a while to find (google maps took us down some very small dirt tracks in the neighbouring vineyards) but once we eventually found it,... More

This is not a simple stay...its a beutiful experience! Masseria Potenti is not a place is an atmosphere, a dream, a wonderful immersion in everything that Puglia as to offer. Its like walking in a painting everywhere you go...the whites of the architecture and decor in contrats with the vibrant colors of the nature (the Fichi D'India, the Olive trees,... More

Relax, excellent food, but also happiness for your eyes. All this is Masseria (farm castle) I Potenti. The dream of Maria Grazia and Paolo Tommasino became true building their castle day by day with an eye to good taste, hospitality, tradition. White is the color. But green is everywhere in the form of fruit plants, olive trees, wine yards. And... More

I was attending a meeting in Puglia and we had a banquet dinner at Potenti. The food was unbelievable! and the music fantastic with lots of dancing. They served their own wine (a primitivo) which is fabulous. We decided to spend our last night in Italy at Potenti for my husband's birthday. We were treated royally! the hostess is incredibly... I was really excited about everything I've read and saw about this place since I've received an invite to attend a wedding of same friends. Although the place is really wonderful, food, service and organization during the wedding was far to be considered professional and meet the expectations everyone might have for an important ceremony as a wedding. Also the... More

I've been travelling all around the world with my family and frankly this is the first time i write down a review, beacuse the place really deserves it. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Masseria Potenti is a 16th century estate of some 250 acres situated in the countryside of southern Italy, only 3 miles from the sea. The estate used to belong to the influential Imperiali family and is now owned by the charming Mr and Mrs Tommasino. Situated among hills with olive trees and vineyards, the terrain slopes towards the Ionian coast. Fully respecting the antique architecture, the present owners have converted this classical ‘masseria’ into very stylish, personal accommodation where you are made to feel at home. ... more   less
