I would avoid this hotel restaurant. We went there for the lunch, and there was a lot of people on the terrace so our opinion was that this is nice place to eat,but this was a big mistake. First the table was dirty, the waitres is not polite and she doesnt now nothing about this job. She didnt clean the table and when we asked for menu she didnt had the menu, then after 15min she is coming back with menus. We looked the menu and ordered the food but things we wanted to order where gone so we ordered two meat plates frankopan and four mixed salats. We asked how much we will have to wait and the answer was 20min this was ok for us. But after one hour the food wasnt coming to our table and the waitress was avoiding us. Then we went inside and asked where is our food and they said the food will is not ready but it will be in 30min. So we have gone away without our lunch after two hours of waiting. This is wery bad restaurant with poor service and I would avoid this place at any cost.

Stayed here with a group on our way to Slovenia. The hotel side, where we stayed, is quite worn out. The carpets in the rooms are not clean, beds are pretty old, so is every amenity in the room (dont try the tv). The wifi got overloaded and was not functioning and the shower filled up with water very quickly, as the drainage was not fully functioning. Breakfast - sausages and croissons run out, the feedback was - we dont have more, also no vegetables. The premises as well have seen their best days. Probably the only advantage - price. We did not take the restaurant, that had good reviews before. So in summary - the hotel could do much better.

As wedding guests we were nicely surprised by the beautifully decorated function room. (Picture)The food was good. The waiters were very friendly. However when we wanted to check in our room with our 5 and 2 year old kids, the manager of the hotel, not knowing that we recognised him, pretended to be someone else so he didn’t have to deal with our reservation. He eventually gave us our keys after we told him we knew who he was. After this awkward situation, he told us that he was joking!! After that we went to our room. The interior design is poor and quite old. We had no light in the bathroom and the TV wasn’t working. When we asked about the air conditioner remote the manager told us it was an additional 30kn (approximately 4,50€). When my 70-year-old father-in-law went to his room around 2-3 in the morning, the manager stopped him in the hallway and asked him where he’s headed. After he told him to his room, the manager asked him if he already paid for it!!! When we woke up in the morning, we wanted to eat breakfast but the waiter (who was very friendly) explained to us that the policy of the hotel is that the breakfast in only included in the price for guests who pay the whole price for the room (412kn = 55,50€). We as wedding guests paid 300kn so no breakfast for us even though the hotel rules and regulations don’t say anything about that. At the reception, after we paid for the room by cash, the manager didn’t give us the receipt and made us go upstairs and bring the air conditioner remote. We left the hotel/restaurant Frankopan as fast as we could and decided to find another place to eat (Lana Korana at 10min from this hotel) that is a real little treasure.

All in all it was a good one night stay, but there are few remarks: Not that much space in the room Showerhead holder broken No carpet infront of the shower and it seemed that wall tiles were used as floor tiles, thus they were rather slippery. Window in the showerroom with no cover at all. Elevator was not operating, because it seems that they wanted to cut costs...

Riding a wonderful curvy road to Zagreb, the day was getting late and this Hotel appeared. It is old world with vintage, but good furniture, and the rooms are big or suite sized, which is great for motorcyclists who need a lot of room for their riding gear to dry out. The restaurant was good and the included breakfast was one of the best we had on this ride. There is no where to walk to so this hotel has to be an end-of-day destination. Fortunately the restaurant is big and we could enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling pressured.
