MP tourism did it right in Chitrakoot. Well maintained, friendly staff, all basic amenities (mosquito repellent, heater, hot/cold water, tv with all popular channels etc.). Room is very spacious with an attached balcony. The manager was very cooperative when we had to make a last minute change in our booking. He helped out without any inconvenience caused!! Affordable and homely... More

Good hotel at great location. Just 200 mtrs from Ram Ghat. With large rooms and Bath rooms. Good parking space and a small garden. Staff is very helpful. Free WiFi, Break Fast and Bed tea. Food menu is very limited. However rooms and bathrooms are very simple. However a bit overpriced.

Visited last week.Located at the heart of Chitrakoot just 200 metres from Ramghat it a great spot . Rooms are reasonably charged starting from 1300 INR . For solo travellers like me Dormitory at Rs 250 per night was a good option. The camping has a parking so I preffered it. Very good at its price and location.

I stayed in this Tourist Bungalow-MPTDC, Chitrakoot for two nights in December end of 2015. Loved this hotel, loved its location closest to Ram Ghat. This was a great experience altogether. Spacious rooms, excellent quality food are its highlights. Everything in this Government Hotel is at the top level of service. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. Yes,... More

MP Tourist Bungalow Chitrakoot is graciously furnished, simple interiors and sophisticated ambiance. Rooms are large and clean with a peaceful atmosphere. A comfortable and delightful stay. Ram ghat is very near the bungalow. Tourist bungalow offer nothing on complimentary except simple breakfast. The behavior of the staff especially of the manager Mr. Baghle is at par excellence. The small restaurant... More

The place is probably the only decent choice if you plan to stay in Chitrakoot. However, there seems to be no concept of maintenance! The rooms are big, but once you start using them you see the issues: Doors are broken, fans make noise, water heater leaks, toilet supplies are not refilled. Even though we took an AC room, AC... Madhya Pradesh Tourist Bungalow (not to be confused with Uttar Pradesh Tourist Bungalow) provided an overall OK stay but is definitely overpriced considering the state of the room. I paid 1440 rupees (ex tax) for a room that is clearly in need of renovation with a bed with a thin mattresd and an extremely noisy power fan built into the... More

We stayed in MP tourist Bungalow for 1 night. Room was large, specious and clean. The good part is that hotel situated very near to Ram ghat, You can just walk to Ram ghat, take a boat and visit the Bharat Ghat, Ram ghat and other temples and ganga arti. Food was delicious and service staff was courteous. If I... More

Very good atmosphere. Clean and spacious rooms with all amenities. Staff were very helpful and polite. Specially the Manager was very good... More

We stayed in the MP Tourist Bungalow for a day in the Family accommodation. Spacious and large room with two separate bathroom and toilet. The AC in the room is not sufficient for this large room. It can easily accommodate 8 to 10 people. We ate at the restaurant. The taste is good but we have to wait for a... More
