A beautiful small old Spanish town full of history and culture. The hotel was in the centre of the town and tastefully renovated and in-keeping with the surrounding old architecture . The free parking is secure and only 2 minutes walk away. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated and overlooking...

Whilst this place is approx 6 miles off the main road it is well worth the trip to this charming little pueblo. The Hotel is a lovely brick built building built around its own square. The staff were charming and attentive and our room was superb with 4 balconies and the most comfortable bed ever. The perfect stopping off point...

A very good reception.Double room of a generous size, with efficient shower and comfy large beds. We decided to eat in the courtyard on a mild evening.Young and happy staff made us welcome.A superb plate of local Serrano ham, with freshly grated tomato and toast, followed by Rabo de toro and paletilla of ternasco(young shoulder of lamb) made this a very economical and...

We had enjoyed our stay here five weeks ago so returned en route to Santander. We had the same room overlooking the courtyard. It was spacious, clean and brightly furnished with comfy beds. The air con is not great though and there was still a rip in the voile curtain. The courtyard bar is a delight, and the staff that...

This hotel is excellent and, yet again, the rooms were lovely and clean and large. The staff are also friendly, even though our Spanish is limited, but we were told they are trying to get more understanding of English. We had two wonderful days visiting this amazing village and will return again.

Good for a one night stop, in this area without much choice on the Valencia-Zaragoza axis. However two things make me doubt I would return. 1/ The bedclothes are not very clean. Other-wise the place is clean enough. 2/ It can be quite noisy. In the quiet of the village night, the cobbled streets make an absolute racket, as does...

Cienbalcones is within the walled, historic centre of the town. It has a lovely traditional courtyard and the rooms are large and have been upgraded to a high standard. We had a very good breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant-very good food, wine at a reasonable price. Service was always, polite helpful.
