We travelled from Kiruna to Abisko with a group of four families on or Northern Lights trip. Our cabin was two stories with four bedrooms, huge kitchen and sitting area, plus sauna and wood fire. We loved it! Staff all very helpful and food nice, even took specific requests for our group and were flexible. Breakfast god Swedish fare. The...

We spent 3 nights full board here in the hope to see the northern lights, unfortunately the weather was not kind for us to see the lights but this did not stop us having a great time. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were small but as we were not staying long it was not...

We stayed at the Log Cabins for 4 nights. Overall it's very comfortable, clean with stunning views. Location wise also excellent with great activities, we had a blast. Meals were taken at the main hotel about 5 mins walk. There is only one restaurant and meals were good, not fantastic but good. My only complaint would be - lights! The...

We stayed three nights at the cabins, it has very nice view with sauna. It is clean. The staff were very nice as we had some trouble with the train and they are very helpful to us in contacting the train company and booking taxis. The small town had great view. We are considering coming back during summer.

We spent 4 nights there. Two adults with our two grown-up children. I was a bit worried after reading all the comments. And yes, it is expensive: the rooms are simple and bathrooms small. Yes, the restaurant is not cheap either and the portions are small. BUT the food is very tasty, the view amazing, it offers very nice walks...

I stayed only one night (December 10) in this charming 4-star hotel with a nearly century-old history (has been running since 1926). The lobby and common areas transmit a warm and welcoming feel and the large windows offer a breathtaking view of the lake below. In the restaurant you can enjoy the same panorama and it has the open kitchens....

Pros: - Fantastic view on the lake. - Good breakfast. Cons: - Extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Not a single smile. They make customers feel like a nuisance. - A very gloomy place. The corridor leading to rooms feels like a prison or a submarine - narrow, poorly lit, dark colours. - Small room and - much more importantly -...

Compared to last year this visit was a big disappointment. The first cabin we were offered was equipped with a dirty toilet with weird odour. The second one we were offered had living room window broken fixed with tape. The cabin needs renovation. The bedroom door has a hole. The plastic carpet on the floor consists of to different pieces....

A beautifully situated hotel with an amazing view of the Lapponian Gate, Torneträsk, Nuolja and more. Our dinner was surprising! We didn't expect such high quality food and the chef's knack for combining different tastes. Breakfast was good, but recommend going early. They stopped restocking the buffet during the last 30 minutes (perhaps even earlier), so all the fresh baked...

This was a great place to explore the area of Bjorkliden. The scenery is amazing and the views from the hotel are as well. We stayed here 2 nights between traveling from Jarvik to getting the train to Stockholm. It was worth the stop. Meals were a little disorganized but OK. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable but...
