Pros: - Fantastic view on the lake. - Good breakfast. Cons: - Extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Not a single smile. They make customers feel like a nuisance. - A very gloomy place. The corridor leading to rooms feels like a prison or a submarine - narrow, poorly lit, dark colours. - Small room and - much more importantly -...

Compared to last year this visit was a big disappointment. The first cabin we were offered was equipped with a dirty toilet with weird odour. The second one we were offered had living room window broken fixed with tape. The cabin needs renovation. The bedroom door has a hole. The plastic carpet on the floor consists of to different pieces....

A beautifully situated hotel with an amazing view of the Lapponian Gate, Torneträsk, Nuolja and more. Our dinner was surprising! We didn't expect such high quality food and the chef's knack for combining different tastes. Breakfast was good, but recommend going early. They stopped restocking the buffet during the last 30 minutes (perhaps even earlier), so all the fresh baked...

This was a great place to explore the area of Bjorkliden. The scenery is amazing and the views from the hotel are as well. We stayed here 2 nights between traveling from Jarvik to getting the train to Stockholm. It was worth the stop. Meals were a little disorganized but OK. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable but...

Spent there one night on my way to Norway. The hotel and area has great views, the cabins were clean and cozy. Breakfast was very good. I think this will be great place for families or for older people during winter when you can ski etc. winter activities. At summer you can enjoy the nature and silence in solitude. If...

We went there during a bit of a dry spell for the hotel in mid-October of '15 and were actually pleased that we had most of the hotel almost entirely to ourselves. Rather than making it uncomfortable, we felt more invited. To top this off, we had the opportunity to engage the staff and leisurely walk around the area, visit...

Hotel rooms very very nice with fantastic views. Fabulous breakfast also. Dinner was a little unorganised and portions very very small and expensive but good. It was a little chilly in the restaurant and main foyer but we enjoyed our time there.

We stayed at fantastic log cabin no 76 on the front row overlooking the frozen lake, Lapporten and mountains covered in snow. It was magical. Staff are amazing and very friendly, food is gorgeous and the place is set for fun skiing.

Although this hotel is probably considered a ski lodge, and we did not come to this area to ski, it was a warm and inviting place. Situated along side the ski slopes and high above the frozen Tornetrask Lake, this toasty lodge has breathtaking views all around. The lobby was a great place to have some food or drinks near...

After travelling by train for almost 1 day to reach Bjorkliden, our luggage was taken by the hotel team and we walked the 500 meters up the hill to the hotel - so lovely to stretch our legs. It's a simple hotel and we had heard from other trip advisors that the rooms are rather small so we opted for...
