Stayed in a suite and apartment at this wonderful Auberge on our way through NB. Greeted warmly by generous and knowledgable hosts who treated us like family. Rooms were large, clean and nicely appointed. In actual fact a huge place but still cozy and steeped in history. The owners had undertaken vast improvements over the last 10 years and the... More

Wow. It was wonderful to be able to stay in a place so full of history and serenity. The owners are warm, kind, hospitable and knowledgeable of the area and it's history. The dinners are the best you can find in the area. Our room with a queen bed was comfortable and very clean. We loved it so much we... More

I've never stayed at the Inn, but it appears to be quite the place to stay. But I do know about the restaurant as I've eaten there. At first we thought the restaurant was on the main floor. WRONG!! It's in the basement of the Inn overlooking Bouctouche Bay. It's to bad it was raining, 'cause we would have eaten... More

We stayed 4 nights last year and have warmest memories. What a kind host, M'sieur Raymond, patiently explaining area history, specialties, sites to us in both French and English. Eventually my 8 year old couldn't wait to get back each evening to listen and tell him more!?! We liked the student servers, having one enjoyable dinner on the terrasse and... More

This our the second time we stay at the Inn, our room was very clean, the hosts provided answers to our questions, they were very friendly and helpful, they gave us a brief history of the property, breakfast was excellent, a great variety and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again. Leandre LeBlanc

This is a lovely place, beautiful property great history. Wifi in the lobby very fast. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked, great selection. The hosts gave us good tips on what to places of local interst, and directed us to a great restaurant for supper. Would definitely return.

A little after 4 AM the smoke detector woke us with two or three very loud chirps. From time to time it went off again for a little over an hour. Failed in attempts to turn off the detector but it stopped once i opened the window. Reported this in the morning. On checkout, I asked for an adjustment in... More

We apologized for the noise. The alarm had not gone off before the guest's arrival nor since. We are uncertain whether it was our equipment or the activity of the guest. The request for a reduction seemed to be phrased is a manner that indicated to us,"If I don't get a reduction, I will write a review." We don't work... More

We stayed here for one night on a recent trip with my sister and her husband. I booked two suites which for around $20 extra was well worth it. Very spacious with a nice sitting area and two bathrooms. The property is right on the water with a nice view. It's a very interesting Inn with lots of history and... More

Glad you enjoyed your visit! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Yes, our employees for the most part are students. If they are working with the kitchen, they start off by doing breakfasts and will later 'graduate' to waiting on tables for the evening meal if suitable. This year we had one French-speaking student (16 years... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Acadian Country Inn began its life in 1880 as the first priest’s residence of Bouctouche. We have preserved the era’s architecture and charm with its dormers and interior wood detailing, all the while modernizing our facility for the comfort of our guests. Two wings, the most recent added in the 1940s, have been renovated offering eleven comfortable and reasonably priced rooms and three suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The original 1880 house has two large suites, the perfect thing for the couple wanting a little pampering or when you decide to bring the kids along. ... more   less
