Nice view but there's a good reason this place is number nine of nine "hotels" in Bacalar. We were booked for mid May and stayed only one night. The owners don't seem to care about the noise level of their guests after midnight nor basic cleanliness of the rooms or even sheets [which we had to exchange at the front...

This tour covers all the "usual spots" most cover on Laguna Bacalar: swim stop at the Cenote Negro, brief explanations of several other cenotes (depth, location of springs that feed, etc.), long swim stop at the shallow "Fountain of Youth" sands. It's on a motorized pontoon boat rather than a panga, however, so you can ride without a life jacket...

Stayed here about ten years ago, wow this place has really gone downhill. Paid $130 a night for a dumpy, outdated room. I will say we did have a great view of the Lake. The room was clean but furnishings were ragged and needed updating. Price should be in the max of $40-50 range as you can get much nicer...

My group and I hired a boat tour while at the Cenote Azul. We arrived at the hotel and saw a gorgeous view right from the parking lot. We then met the tour person at a small stand outside of the hotel's restaurant. The hotel had a sort-of infinity pool that looked right over the Lagoon, it was an amazing...

I found this hotel with no advance reservations on a weekend. I was thankful for the room and patio that offered a lovely view of the lagoon. The hotel is simply. The owner's have not updated the rooms in years, unfortunately. The room was a tolerable deal at $75.00 per night for two. Sheets were clean, beds old. The bathroom...

This is a Classic Hotel in Bacalar in front of the Lagoon, Hotel and rooms look a little bit old. Rooms really need some improvments. Not all rooms have AC, so be sure if you need it, you request it from the time of your reservation, because when is warm weather, room gets really hot, and there is only one...

We were considering to stay in this place. The place has a great great view. You can look a big part of the lagoon from there. At last we just spend the day (We ate in the restaurant and swam in the pool) Pros: The view is great, price/quality is fair (eventhough you can find something better for the price)...

This is a nice place to go where you can see the beautiful laguna from the pool and roof. It is becoming more rundown but what workmanship with the shells. The pool is fabulous being fed by the cenotes that feed the lake. The rooms are older and the rooftop bar is no longer open but we had a very...

This little hotel in Bacalar is a great and quite hotel in the outside of the town of Bacalar. But as it is located outside of Bacalar, you cannot walk to the town, you need to pay for a taxi (between 2-3 USD for the ride) to get to the town and the attractions Bacalar has to offer. However, this...

I have been coming to Hotel Laguna for the last twenty five years. Back in the day, when Don Carlos used to run it, it was an impeccable stay. It went down a few years back, but it seems to be coming back....slowly. They have a new menu with a wider selection of choices...which were actually quite good. The bar...
