I liked almost everything about this hotel, if you want a break off from the city, this is one of the best options you will find in Bacalar. It is NOT for partying, so don't expect to be very noisy. The food is good, service is good the staff always helpful. I had a room with lagoon view and it... More

Hotel is supposed to be cottages in the rain forest.... Gardens are not well kept; rooms need maintenance. Construction is being done on what used to be gardens with no "camouflaging". We were party of 13 and were kicked out every day, in very rude terms, from jacuzzi, pool, restaurant at breakfast and dinner, as well as dock (even lagoon).... More

Not sure this place needs reviews. It's soo beautiful. Ask for a lagoon casita and you will want nothing more. Excellent restaurant, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and then the lagoon! Nature at its best.

Everything about our stay was perfect: the room, the food, the service. The lagoon is one of the prettiest places I've ever been to, the water is clear and warm and the boat trip was very entertaining and well explained. The locals are really in love with this place and there is no question why. I would stay here 1,000... More

First of all Bacalar lagoon is the most beautiful place to visit in Quintana Roo, Mexico and, to make quite an unforgettable experience, this hotel has everything you need for spending a delightful stay. The overall service of the staff is just perfect, also the room, the jungle-cabanas-like facilities, the pools, the harbor, the restaurant, the atmosphere... everything to let... More

I went to Bacalar for a wedding and LOVE this hotel so much that I decided to book it for a second stay a few day later. By doing that, I got to enjoy both types of rooms: one much more rustic, no air conditioning, large cabana right in front of the water (swings on a tree included outside out... More

We knew our stay at Rancho would be good but didn't anticipate just how great it would be. The service and hotel staff were beyond excellent, the restaurant was well priced and varied (the included breakfasts were especially excellent) and the tranquil setting is perfect and the layout of the hotel well planned. Free kayaks and filtered water in the... More

We visited 7 hotels in the Yucatan peninsula and this was my favourite. Our cabin was right on the lagoon and my son and I managed a pre breakfast swim. You need water proof shoes, and the lagoon is warm and perfect for swimming. The Kayak's and pool and included and excellent. The included breakfast was excellent, as is the... More
