Great location on the lakeside. We had a room for 2 persons. The staff was very friendly. There is a nice vibe and it’s easy to meet other travellers in the common areas. It’s very close to the centre and about 15-20min walk to the bus station

This place is like heaven for all sunrise lovers. I got up every morning to watch the sunrise above the lake from right outside my dorm rooms balcony door on very comfy chairs cuddled in a warm blanket. It's magical. The rest of the hostel is great as well! The staff friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and sufficient, the bar a nice bonus and the daily burger offer great value and taste. The complementary breakfast is great and the kitchen area quite big. It takes a bit to walk there from the bus stop but it doesn't take too long. All in all it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. They also offer different tours which is quite nice.

Really enjoyed this hostel, especially the activities on offer. Anna who did our Mojito. making classes, was so much fun and energetic, we all went out after and made some great friends to continue the trip through Mexico with! Little bit more, but its right on the lake and you. meet staff and great people. I think it probably has the best activities on offer also, such as kayaking (again we signed up with Anna), and other tours! Thanks for a great experience!

Offcourse we booked with Booking.com and in all the confirmationmails there was the information that you can pay with the most of the credictcards. When we arrived to checkin we had to pay only with cash.. now we dont had any cashmoney with us and we've booked all our hotels in the past (around 230 in total) with a creditcard, so this was in our opinion not a warm welcome. After struggling with the deskemployee she told us that we can pay with our creditcard , but only if we pay 3% fee extra.. So okay, they make a mistake and we have to pay extra to solve their issue? No way.. So we called Booking.com and let them discuss.. In the end after calling we finally can pay with our creditcard and the 3% will not be claimed.....uhh do you think? When we received the bill after the checkin, the 3% was offcourse claimed. So they are a ripoff!! Then the worst part.. A really annoying doorbel is sounding the whole evening en night. Why you use such a noise like that to open a freaking door? Then... in the morning at 06:00u. All the hipsters will woke up for a hipster paddleboard tour but they think that they are alone and were chanting and playing music early in the morning. Uhh not all the guests are that early awoke. Then the breakfast (that was included) two types of yoghurt and some cereals?? No.. This was a bad experience and i would never recomended this to our friends.
