Nice place to stay, good price , the rooms are BIG and comfortables, the AC. A little noisy but works good. Thel pool is small but comfortable with a nice view. Good parking area, BACALAR VILLAS does not have restaurant, but not necessary you can eat at the downtown.

We spend 4 nights in a 1 bedroom condo. The condo is very spacious and the view on the lagoon is spectacular but the condos are very outdated. Old furniture, nothing you can sit on is comfortable, the A/C wasn't working 3 out of 4 nights, the fan was not working and you can't even open the windows because they...

From the moment we arrived we faced huge disappointments. Greeted by the front desk lady (whom next day was the house keeper) to be told that we had to carry our suitcases to our rooms because there was nobody to help us after 3PM (check in time). Our room was on the second story poorly furnished. An old TV set...

When we arrived there was no one to give us a key to our room. It took us ten minutes of shouting to get some one to come. The rooms are comfy able but bugs have very easy access to the room with gaps under the doors and nothing on the windows to keep them out. The decor is horrible...

We spent one night here while visiting Bacalar. Frankly, we would have probably enjoyed it more if we had been staying multiple nights. The villas are actually quite spacious and include a kitchenette that we never took advantage of. We had a one bedroom unit that had a spacious living area and bedroom area. The views of the lake were...

We stayed here out of necessity as other choices were full. We were one of the very few staying there (although the booking site made it appear as if it were almost full.) The room did have a good view and the size of the rooms was fine (bath a bit tight but the hot water was good). The kitchen...

Expensive for what you get . A small bathroom in relation to the size of the accommodation . Breakfast not included . Not on the water's edge nor near the town . Wifi pretty weak . Owner was pleasant and helpful.

We stayed for 2 nights. The first room we saw was stinky, smell of mold or whatever lived there before. We asked to see another room, but it was also smelly (although less than the first). The third room was the worst so we stayed at the second (no. 107) Level of cleaness very poor. Sticky floor and dead bugs...

We had a lovely ground floor apartment with a patio area leading to the pool with views over the lake beyond. There was some inital noise from an adjacent beach club on the lake but this stopped after a holiday weekend. We stayed for 3 nights but could have stayed longer. The apartment had a lounge diner with kitchen area,...

Vers nice, quiet and central in Bacalar. Spacious rooms with kitchen and living room. Pretty modern but a little maintenance in details needed. Few steps to the laguna and center. Very accomodating and friendly staff at breakfast with awesome eggs à la mexicana, worth every dime. Can only recommand and glad we chose this hotel for our short stay.
