We recently stayed at this outstanding hotel during our honeymoon. The stay far exceeded our expectations!! Service was friendly and knowledgable (hiking trail recommendations). The food (half board) was delicious and the menu changed daily. Our view from our room (2nd floor centre) was spectacular. This hotel is primely situated directly on this world class mountain lake, so it feels...

This hotel and location felt like a dream. The rooms and food were perfect and the staff were incredibly welcoming. This hotel's location couldn't be better... Having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake watching the sunrise was pretty special. Definitely coming back to visit someday!

A friend and I traveled to Lago di Braies to start a hut-to-hut hike through the Dolomites. Jens at the front desk was so amazingly helpful by sharing with us the maps of the area and calling ahead to the other huts to confirm our arrivals. We were so thankful for all of his instructions and details. We would definitely...

The Hotel Pragser Wildsee is old world charm in one of the most visually impressive places in Europe. Warm and friendly hospitality from all staff helped make it feel like home. Views from the hotel into the mountains make you feel like you are really there. It is one of those places you need to see and experience.

We recently returned from a 6-week trip to Italy. We stayed in 12 different lodgings and this was one of the better ones. The room was fairly large and had a lake view that was absolutely stunning. The bathroom was of average size. The hotel is old and would be a national historic site in the U.S. So the rooms...

Warm hospitality starting from arrival until departure. Excellent clean room with superb views. A location not to miss in this lifetime. Very beautiful lake with untold scenery. A small petite church on the sides of the lake brings in all the spirituality. Boats for self rowing making the stay more romantic. Excellent dinner served at the table. Simple, nourishing, wide...

The location of this hotel is stunning, although we did have a balcony, the trees obscured our view a bit. We stayed here 3 nights. Rooms were clean and simple, for what we paid we expected a bit more. We were a couple and they moved the two beds together which is not the most comfortable when trying the cuddle...

The Hotel Pragser Wildsee is a very large historical hotel (built in 1899) situated on the shore of the Lago di Braies which is the deepest natural lake in the Dolomites. The interior could be described as having an old-fashioned elegance and the whole hotel is protected by the Fine Arts Foundation. Our room, with an en-suite bathroom, was small...

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Pragser Wildsee. The location was stunning set on the edge of a lovely mountain lake. There was a trail that went around the lake and there were row boats that you could rent. The rooms were immaculate and beds very comfortable. I especially liked the breakfast and dinners served. The food was very fresh...
