Go for the beach side huts, for amazing views. Reasonable value for the location. The communal areas are nice and there are plenty of local beers at the bar. They do a local coffee as well for a good price.

Enjoyed 2 days and nights at Kande Beach great location on the lake, flexible venue with camping grounds, bungalows, single rooms, double rooms etc at nice prices. Good options for food and drinks and service just really ok bar staff no very friendly just serve you and walk away and sometimes leaves you standing at bar while they are close... More

We stayed here for two nights camping and it was a good campsite. The bar was reasonably priced, and 1000 kwacha for beer and 1500 for cider. The toilets were good and the showers were sometimes warm. Wifi was free for the first 100mb each day through a Facebook login, and then 500mb was 3000 kwacha and was a fast... More

Beautiful place! Good food and service! Did not sleep so well because there was mangos falling down on the roof every 15 minute throughout the night. Absolutely worth a visit if you are in Northern Malawi! Try the horseback riding!! Absolutely amazing!!!

We stayed here 7 nights in our own tent. Stunning location and good value for money, pitches included tables and electricity. The owners and staff we very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant served good meals at reasonable prices and a variety of drinks. Facilities were fine, enough showed and toilets for the busy campsite. Would go back!

Four of us hired a cottage. It was a nice spot, great view, right on the beach and next to the dive shop. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds with mossi nets, two private bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor dining areas are also nice to have. Great accommodation for the money. The diving isn't expensive either.

I stayed in a beach chalet with a double bed which sounds pretty amazing. I wasn't on the beach though so this was a surprise!! Possibly worth renaming it a garden chalet. Inside the chalet leaked during the rain, had massive power issues, and was home to some pretty scary looking lizards. Throughout the night while I was trying to... More

Spent two nights here during our obey land trip. Right on shore of lake Malawi with dugout canoes and fishermen repairing their nets. Enjoyed the locals in the village especially the kids. Went to the island and did some fishing. I'm Costume party on the beach. Fairy lights at night

The good: One of the owners, Lisa, was super friendly. Shaded areas to pitch a tent. The bar. The restaurant. The beach here is beautiful. The not so good: Incredibly noisy, it is impossible to walk on the beach without being hassled, WiFi did not work at all, the people working reception were never friendly. All in all this was... Wow, what a beautiful location! We spent two nights in a beach cabin with a stunning view of the island right across. Really relaxed atmosphere. Good, clean ablutions. Dive center right next door. In the morning we walked along the beach to the fishing village. And in the afternoon we made a dive at the island but unfortunately due to... More
