What a treat this was - a traditional French country restaurant with essentially the same dishes they have been making for the past 40 years. We all felt swept back to a gentler more considerate time amidst food, wine and service of substance and value. The restaurant was full, the staff marvellous, the 26 Euro menu great value and extensive... More

Step behind the front door and into another world. Greeted at reception by a lovely gent dressed in his Chef's whites. Due to the language differences, there wasn't much he could do to provide a warm introduction but I consider this my fault for not speaking the native language. The furnishings in the reception areas and bedrooms are too say... More

Stayed here for one night with four friends, all on motorcycles. Very good, personal and friendly service. Rooms very clean with all you need for a good nights sleep. Restaurant was the star of the stay with excellent food and service. A great place to stay when travelling through or as a base.

excellent kitchen, typical Bourgogne, wonderful service. You don't expect this when you see the frontdoor: open it and be overwhelmed! Being served by Burgundiandressed servants is "joyeux". The food and wine are excellent.

After searching all day for a restaurant that would be open on New Year's Day we arrived late at Chez Camille only to find the restaurant was full of diners. Fortunately for us the staff found us a great table by an open fire. We then experienced a beautifully presented and delicious lunch of classic and inventive dishes. The service... More

As regular visitors we always enjoy this delightful family owned hotel/restaurant. It conjures up an atmosphere of yesteryear with Monsieur dressed in traditional chef's uniform serving excellent traditional Burgundian food. The rooms are comfortable and we look forward to our stay every year. The hotel and restaurant offer amazing value.

We had a great lunch at CHEZ CAMILLE. Very traditionnal food made served with class (i loved the silver dome). A not to be missed place! special mention to the wine card, it will be a shame not to try the wonderfull red wine "clos des dames huguettes 2013"

Only noe missing was Basil :0) Doorknob in your hand. No words... Nice staff though. Popop running the place . Granddaughter trying her best... Heavy traffic outside. Strange experience... quiet litt tonn. Nothing to do. Exiting history though. Was the hotel to stay at on your way from Paris to the Riviera back in the day.

Chez Camille is a surviving overnight stop from the days in the 1930s or 1950s when it was fashionable to drive your luxury car to the South of France. It is situated on the old RN6 and you park your car immediately outside. You receive a personal welcome from the proprietors who have owned it since 1982. The decor and... More
