If you have only stayed in boutique hotels and want to try something different, this inn is a must for you. Its decor is a profuse baroque jumble of velvet, lace, cherubs and tassels set in as many nooks and crannies. There is no end to visual surprises whichever way you turn. Our room was in the attic, highly recommended... More

We stayed at the Auberge 6 and 7 Sep. To be fair, I should probably give it a 3.8 out of 5 but the price vs value was not quite there. This place is straight out of Dickens times, decorated with taste and attention. The owners have done quite a remarkable rehabilitation of this old patrimonial house. One would wish... More

Our first impression (what did we get ourselves into?) quickly changed to Great choice once we saw our rooms, the back patio and views and had one of our best dinners ever. The 5-course dinner with venison was the best. Easy walking access to a National Park with kayak rentals.

We loved the esthetics of the inn, the view and the food. The shared bathroom had us concerned but it was perfectly fine. Never would have known it was shared. Would recommend it to our friends any day.

This place is very hard to describe. When you pull up to the front it looks like a regular bed and breakfast on a residential street. Then you enter and it is like something from a movie--think La Cage au Folles. Over the top antique decorations fill every space. But so cool! Then when you go out the back you... More

OMG is this place ever over the top....but good over the top. The decor is straight out of a Shakespearean play. Every nook and cranny is filled with treasured. The lobby sets the tone. My friend's room looked like Dickens good have written Great Expectations in that little garret. The bathroom was incredible , complete with a full reclining divan... More

First, I have to say that I enjoyed the terrace time 5:00/7:00pm a drink, a perfect view of the river and the owner served small appetizers, a pleasant surprise; an accordionist playing melodies from the 20' and the 30'. That same night, I had supper, nice menu, a "table d'hôte" acceptable price, including dessert and soup, the only problem, it... More

We thank you for your nice words! We sincerely apologize for the length between each serving on that evening, and thank you for your patience. We had a new young kitchen team and a new menu as well, so some adjustements we necessary and done since. More

I felt like I was living in a theatre set during my stay. But, this made for a memorable stay. One does wonder how often all those draperies and decorations in the hotel could ever get dusted, but our room was comfortable and we did not feel like we needed to keep our shoes on... Both our evening meal and... More

One enters this Bed & Breakfast through a heavily canopied entrance way. Decor was a bit overwhelming in my view. Employees were accommodating and food was fine. They offer dinner with a fairly good selection which we enjoyed. Window frames looked like they needed some TLC, rooms were comfortable. Small gift shop next door. Was interesting to see, but don't... More

Extremely disappointed in the main menu, only the desert saved the meal. We had reserved for 4 and I had requested window seats to see the Sunset. We were placed at a table on the inside in the dark. No wine and a bill of $300 (with the tip) for 3 adults. Tooo much!
