One enters this Bed & Breakfast through a heavily canopied entrance way. Decor was a bit overwhelming in my view. Employees were accommodating and food was fine. They offer dinner with a fairly good selection which we enjoyed. Window frames looked like they needed some TLC, rooms were comfortable. Small gift shop next door. Was interesting to see, but don't... More

Extremely disappointed in the main menu, only the desert saved the meal. We had reserved for 4 and I had requested window seats to see the Sunset. We were placed at a table on the inside in the dark. No wine and a bill of $300 (with the tip) for 3 adults. Tooo much!

The hotel goes for I would call extreme decoration, but succeeds. Had room with shared bathrooms, totally fine, in fact very well kept. Breakfast was very nice: pick something you cannot get everywhere else like their pouding with fruit. Pic is of adjacent shop in former chapel

My wife and I spent 2 days here on recommendations from my sister-in-law. Well worth the visit, but 2 days is the most I would stay. The food is absolutely top notch, both dinner & breakfast. However, if you are looking for spacious , air conditioned, quite rooms this is not the place for you. The walls are paper-thin ,... More

We spent the first night on the "tour de la gaspesie" at this exquisite b&b. The decor, although sometimes spooky, makes the place very interesting and unique. The terrace has a gorgeous view to the water and the gardens are just beautiful! We stayed at a room with shared bathroom but it was much better than what we expected. Everything... More

If you're looking for a special place to stay, then this is the Inn for you! My husband and I stayed here on our trip through Quebec and loved it--the grounds are beautiful, the rooms delightful and clean, the food is amazing, and the people gracious and helpful! My husband has many allergies and the chef worked with us to... More

Found the hotel by recommendation. Loved the beauty of the area and the beauty of the room. Obviously a lot of care and attention to all things in this hotel. Dinner was amazing and the restaurant is even more eclectic than the rooms. The bathroom is very cramped though and if you're not a thin person, even sitting on the... More

Gardens behind the hotel are wonderful and imaginative. A great respite from the highway. The abundant hotel decor is eclectic turn of the century. Breakfast is somewhat different but good with three unconventional choices served by very friendly competent staff. The bed in our room however was small and sloped to the middle. Very uncomfortable mattress needs replacing. The room... More

Truly an auberge. The decor, everywhere there was bric-a-brac to look at and marvel, a very small bar, but I love old bars with that intimate feeling. Great sitting areas off the lobby. Make sure to introduce yourself to the owner. The rooms were fine, get a verandah room overlooking the water. However, here is what really made it. The... More

We got to the Auberge early evening! Tired did not have the energy to visit the site that evening. We where overwhelmed by the decor, stunned! Never been in a facility with so much stuff. The room was big enough but the room was filled creating a theatrical decor. The widht of the door for the bathroom was very small... More
