Detailed Reviews
We have just spent a wonderful week in the Priory. Very spacious and comfortable, a real home from home. Great attention to detail, the kitchen was very well equipped (sharp knives) and David and Ben thoughtfully provided sofa throws and towels for our two dogs. The location was perfect for exploring Finistère. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and will definitely return again.

Hi Griff1013, Many thanks for your kind review. We are delighted you enjoyed your both stay with us in Priory - and your girls too! We try and ensure that the kitchen has everything anybody would want and I recall you saying that you enjoyed cooking so we're especially pleased you appreciated the sharp knives. We certainly hope to welcome you back in the future to continue exploring this amazing region. Very best wishes. Ben and David

We were the second party to stay in the "refurbished" Priory. Fully equipped kitchen, very nicely en tastefully decorated, the livingroom with the beautiful Chesterfields actually smelled a little like an old church. You will have your own private terrace. It's a great place to visit the various parts of Brittany. Make sure to book a dinner. David is a great chef! We think about staying there in autumn as well.

We chose to stay for 8 nights at The Priory & were a group of 4 adults, 2 little girls & a dog. It was perfect for laid back mornings before venturing to the coast or pretty Breton villages & towns, none of which were more than 20-40 mins drive away. You have forests, lakes & the Monts d’Arrée close by, typical French markets selling their usual excellent local produce too. Kergudon has a choice of accommodation sizes & extra facilities & our English hosts, Ben and David who live on site, went out of their way to make our stay the best it could possibly be.

It was beautifully and tastefully appointed , had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities and very , very comfortable . The Gite is set in peaceful surroundings and yet there is plenty to do and see in the area and a bit further afield . Ben and David have thought of everything . We loved it !

We stayed at ‘The Granary’ a perfect gite, equipped with everything you can think off, nice garden, close to the mountains of Arree. Ben and David are perfect hosts. The welcome basket was good value and original. To be short, don’t go look any further, this is the place.

Spent a week at the Hayloft. Lovely 2 person gite with everything you need. Ben and David couldn't have been more welcoming and their dogs Garrett and Brendan were also friendly. Well placed to visit many lovely towns, villages, forests and other historic sites in Brittany. Want to return already!

My partner and I, together with our 18yr old dog, spent 5 nights at Kergudon Gîtes and Chambres d’Hôtes (The Hayloft) recently.
Like most people on Trip Advisor, we’ve stayed in all sorts of accommodation over the years, from dank dives to lavish palaces. What struck us both about The Hayloft is that despite it being ‘only’ a gite, the quality of everything is way beyond what you’d usually expect in a rural gite.
It is exceptionally pretty, extremely well equipped, and the attention to detail is second to none.
A lot of thought and care has gone into making the place a total pleasure for visitors; nothing has been overlooked. The result is effortless comfort and style – although I have no doubt the effort in turning this from ‘just another’ gite into something so special took a lot of work!
The additional options are also great, with delicious home-made meals and breakfast in bed on offer should you fancy it. The welcome box was excellent and even Martha the dog got her own! Ben and David are friendly and professional, and nothing is too much trouble. The garden and terrace, with private BBQ, are also lovely.
Kergudon’s location is rural, but Morlaix, Quimper, Concarneau, Brest and Roscoff are all an easy spin away.
It’s not often you rent a rural gite and discover something so perfect.

A very welcome return to Kergudon following our first visit in 2015. The changes made since last year are really noticeable, Ben and David have worked exceptionally hard to ensure their guests experience a delightful holiday. Each gite has their own secluded garden and there were times during our stay when we didn't need to venture out but stayed and enjoyed the peace and quiet afforded by Hayloft's garden. Kergudon ticks all boxes, and special mention must be made of David's prowess in the kitchen. Evening meals are a delight from anticipating delivery to the freshest of local produce superbly prepared, we have not had a better restaurant meal, there being no need to eat out. We have been fortunate to view all the gites and can vouch for the high quality and amenities in each, from well thought out welcome box, exceptionally clean properties to the comforts provided. Bonnie particularly enjoyed getting reacquainted with Garratt and meeting Brandon....she had great fun chasing around with them both.
