Spent 5 wonderful days exploring this beautiful area, following our host Jean Michel's excellent, very generous advice and shared local knowhow.... what better way to get to those little places that the locals all know and love, that we tourists might just be lucky enough to stumble across! With Jean Michel's sensitive, intuitive good sense of what each of his guests might most like, all of us were delighted with our days out and about, our wisely pre-booked, delicious local restaurants and happy to share our joys over a delicious, fresh companionable breakfast each morning. An excellent host, and excellent, spacious, comfortable, super clean accommodation in a very beautiful region.... top quality indeed. Heartfelt thanks to Jean Michel for such care and thoughtful, generous consideration for each and every one of your guests and their varied preferences and tastes :)

We stayed at Manoir de l'isle for 4 nights at the end of may and we enjoyed it from the very first to the last minute of our stay. Jean Michel is a great host. We almost felt like being at home. Every morning he created a lovely breakfast for us and was always available for a good chat or advices about nice places to visit. Our room "Orange heron" is large and tastefully designed. For us, most impressive was the open roof construction and we really enjoyed the morning sun shining in our face during the morning shower :-) We definitely can recommend Manoir de l'isle and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Jean Michel is the perfect host for your tour of Ploumilliau area of Brittany. He is fluent in several languages and knowledgeable about the area and will tailor your visit to your style and likes. The manor is a true renovation of an authentic farmstead with all modern amenities and well away from noise of urban life. Be sure to follow GPS for I'Isle. The setting is beautiful and central for visiting coast as well as villes. Breakfast is fine and Jean Michel will help you plan your day or just relax in the beautiful setting. All in - a fine and beautiful place with a host who knows how to treat visitors.
