I typically go to Mexico in the summer because I like it hot and less people. This is one of my many stays at XD,but unfortunately I hit a rainy stretch. I stayed in the Treehouse for part of my stay and it was great. Dan and his daughter have done a great job and have been busy renovating some... More

I loved Xamach Dos. It was everything I hoped it would be. Since first coming to Mexico in 1991, I have progressively moved further south to get away from anything touristy and the crowds. I couldn't stand Tulum anymore and somehow I stumbled across Xamach Dos. We were there for 8 days and my wife and I had the best... More

We were traveling for a lot of time and casually we found this cabins. We just wanted to eat something and a drink so we could return to tulum that was really far from there. They offer a few things they got and i said okay cause we didn't have any option. For two plates of horrible food (the kitchen... More

Firstly you need to persevere to get there - 24km but the road isn't bad! Just keep driving! Once you get to paradise you will receive a friendly welcome! We were the only people there and Fernando and the girls cooked the most delicious meals! They were super flexible and were happy to work in with whatever we liked in... More

This was definitely one of the most unique and wonderful places we have ever been to. Like the other reviews say, if you are looking for someplace with a buffet, swimming pool, maid service and a bunch of watery cocktails, don't come here. If you are looking for a real getaway with a perfect beach (complete with beach dogs), cocktails... More

I booked a lodge 6 months in advance for 2 nights at Xamach Dos, just after the 2016 New Year. I was informed 2 days prior to arriving, that my reservation had been double booked, and I had to scramble to find last minute accommodation elsewhere. The company lacks any transparency or accountability, to my knowledge, and I have not... More

Absolutely loved this place. We only got to stay for one night, but are thankful for that! Michelle and Nando were so hospitable to us...truly made us feel at home. The property is absolutely beautiful and remote. So much better than the hustle and bustle of the Hotel Zone. Wish we would've had an SUV for the road to get... More

What a wonderful place! Beautiful white sand beach just steps away from your charmingly rustic jungle beach cabana. We stayed in Balam and Treehouse and loved the open air atmosphere (with screens to keep the bugs and crawlies out) and fresh water showers! Dan, Heika, and Michelle were extremely warm and hospitable hosts and we enjoyed getting to know each... More

Calm, relaxing, remote, cozy, paradise, chill... We try to pass Sian Ka'an reservation by jeep and after the 2 hours found, that we passed only a half of the road to the Punta Allen village. it was too much for one day and we return back. Just after our return we found a real paradise in these remote places -Xamach... More

What a gorgeous location! It was everything-and more- than I expected! If you are looking for a truly peaceful location to unplug and enjoy creation, then this is it. No resorts, high-rises, or gobs of tourists. This is just the gorgeous natural beach nestled in the middle of the jungle with a small handful of like-minded travelers. Accommodations - Of... More
