Stayed 1 night over halloween weekend in this lovely wee cottage. Very warm welcome and a great nights stay. The family were having a get together with their own friends but invited us to join them for a kids halloween celebration. Sparklers fireworks and a bonfire. Perfect. Breakfast was lovely *fully cooked. Over the stay was comfortable and quiet. Room... More

We arrived in Hillsborough after dark on a Saturday night (1st october) with no idea where we were going to stay. We found a premier inn which was luckily fully booked, but the very nice receptionist gave us a print out of local B&Bs. The first one was fully booked the 2nd didn't answer the 3rd was Dunhill cottage, wow... More

We stayed here one night in their quadruple room which was roomy and comfortable. The people couldn't have been more friendly, recommending places to go for dinner and drinks, and to watch the footie. The bed was not the most comfortable but it wasn't horrible. My only issue was the bathroom. The bathroom had a "wet room" shower, which is... More

Almost one of those hidden gems you find. Beautiful place, Got such a lovely welcome by the owners and the kind man Bill who owned the farmhouse we were staying in next to the main bnb. Room was very clean and tidy, had a lovely view and got a lift to our party venue by one of the owners (thank... More

This was a lovely B@B coffee and tea making in room. Clean and well presented with superb views. Breakfast was excellent. Dave was a superb host considering he was practically on his own as his wife was on holiday. Room clean and comfortable. Easy for all amenities. Would go again any time.

This is actually my very first review on any site, and I created my trip advisor account to make it a point to be able to review this cottage. We were in town for 3 days on a family reunion with a group of 8 adults and 3 children. Not only was the location excellent, the service and hospitality was... More

Having had a disastrous previous night in a B&B this was such a relief; welcoming and completely thought through with everything working and an accommodating owner. We had a pet dog with us which makes it difficult to eat out, so to be offered a place in the dining room with our takeaway whilst watching the Euro footie was brilliant... More
