Beautiful little hotel/restaurant deep in the french countryside. Rooms are modern with a small patio area overlooking fields - so perfectly quiet and peaceful. Food was delicious and service charming. Good location for the nearby gardens of Abbaye de Valloires and Sericourt albeit just sitting on the patio was very tempting! Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend.

We only stayed one night here on our way back to UK, chosen for it's location and previous reviews. It lived up to expectations. Delicious and faultless meal. Spotless and comfortable room . I wish I had the shower room at home! Definitely would like to stay again.

This charming hotel/restaurant may be tucked away in the countryside but it is well worth the detour for that special occasion. The room we had was well appointed and comfortable with a lovely patio sitting area with a view over the valley. All of the food served in the restaurant was excellent and very nicely presented. Even my vegetarian partner... More

I have organised several birthday lunches to celebrate a significant birthday across Western Europe. My French lunch was always going to be at Le Clos de la Prairie because Sandrine is the perfect front of house icon and Sebastian is a chef par exellence. We would be a party of 20+ and so a prior visit was arranged to discuss... More

Recently we spent a delightful weekend at “Le Clos de la Prairie” which is a ‘boutique hotel’ situated in a village in the region known as ‘”The 7 Valleys” with its rolling hills and rivers. The hotel buildings – new and old – are clustered around the former farmyard; all the bedrooms including the restaurant, have large picture windows overlooking... More

An amazing boutique hotel and gourmet restaurant, hidden away in stunning countryside, yet only an hour from Calais and close to Montreuil, the glorious Abbaye des Valloires, and St Valery-sur-Sommes. Sebastian and Sandrine have created a wonderful retreat with nine stylish, contemporary rooms in a converted barn, with patio doors leading to a south-facing terrace overlooking rolling fields and hills.... Just settling down in our comfortable bed after another outstanding meal at this hotel. Breakfast will, I am perfectly confident will again be wonderful. This is an outstanding place in every way: you can sit on the terrace looking out over rolling countryside, listening to the birds, getting your tastebuds ready for the delicious and original flavours to be served... This is a family-run hotel with restaurant, converted from a former farm on the outskirts of a small village near the English Channel. We received a warm friendly welcome from Sandrine. The buildings are modern, our room was clean, well-equipped and comfortable with a good bed. The cuisine is first-class; both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

This hotel in a converted farm is located in the "prairie" about an hour from Calais on the way to Normandy. The rooms are new, modern, clean and well-appointed. It's setting on an old farm property is ideal for relaxing, we had a bottle of wine and cheese while sitting on the patio watching the nearby horse and the sunset.... More
