We love coming to this part of Hampshire, we dined with our friends who live in a nearby village. Two of us had the pork belly which was cooked to perfection, my friend steak was very enjoyable and the pheasant was good although my wife thought it slightly overcooked. Great food, Atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Steak on Mondays. Great place for lunch / snack after a Sunday walk would recommend the scampi. large selection of beers. Just like the old country pubs you see on TV. Will visit again when in the area.

Came here for a Saturday lunch with the family. Food was amazing!! Reasonably priced and huge portions! Was lovely and cosy on a snowy Saturday and the staff were lovely. Best meal out I've had in a long time. Will definitely return!

Lovely country pub/restaurant also serving good selection of food, beers and wine. Food was very nice and quick service. Staff are all friendly and attentive. It would be nice to see a few more veggie options or the classic fish n chips. Overall a great experience. There is more space dedicated to dining than the pub and it can get...

Thoroughly enjoyed our Friday/Saturday wet weekend .Almost the absolute 'tick box ' right place.Position,Restruant,Small Hotel,Lovely owners and staff,quiet comfortable rooms.....Our only non tick for us was that it is 95%/restruant with rooms and 5% pub....the pub itself is not open for most of the day (open at weekends) So nowhere 'to be' apart from the room during the day.Everything else...

Our party was of 10, 8 stayed at the hotel for two nights. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with en-suites and all amenities you would need. The place is well decorated and modern in the guest rooms. The hotel itself has a country ambience as has the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and you could have what you wanted. Service...

There really isn't anything negative to say about the inn. The staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, well decorated and comfortable and the food is fabulous! Looking forward to going back again.

This is a real gem. We stayed for two nights and being a real ale fan the principal attraction for me was the real ale offering. A fantastic selection of beers together with a proper pub ambiance made this a memorable stay. Our room was large, comfortable, quiet and very tastefully furnished. The staff were without exception all very helpful...

We stayed for two nights between Christmas and New Year after buying a deal through Travelzoo. Our welcome was warm, the rooms very comfy and the food delicious.
