Wife, myself and our 8 children (3,6,8,10,14,16,19,19) arrived quite late and was offered to "upgrade" one of our rooms. We refused but felt quite forced into upgrading but we kept refusing. Rooms were great, enough room and lovely n clean. Bit of a pain every day where we weren't left enough towels but a quick call and they'd be delivered. Always managed to get a few beds in the hotel waterpark or on the island. Lifeguards may not always look like their paying attention but trust me they are. We saw first hand that they saved someone's life after taking a heavy hit on the green slide and was knocked out. They were in and got him out in seconds. Food we always found something to eat. Drinks 24hrs. Overall we had a fantastic 2 weeks and would return without doubt.

Avoid ! Meat still pink, arguments with other countries over queue jumping, other hotels using the loungers and you have to tip to even get one that you may have to share,drink teenagers fighting till 3am some nights, air con broken and bugs in the bed. Will never return! Only booked as came before covid and it was amazing but gone downhill badly

Our group of 8 arrived at Eftalia Aqua towards the end of October. When we were checking in, we had to pay to upgrade our rooms so that we were on the same floor as each other. The rooms were clean and the sea view from the balcony was beautiful, especially as sunset. There was a minibar in each room, and bottled water was left in our room every day, as well as fresh bedding and towels. Although the rooms are stunning, you get one sheet for the bed that’s not even the length of the bed. The shower was instant warm and a perfect pressure, however the tiles got very slippery - an easy fix was to lay a hand towel on the floor but this shouldn't be the case. The main pool was freezing and I had been in there for less than 5 minutes for my entire stay - the pools by the slides (on the Island and Aqua) were also freezing however you do get used to the water. The slides on Aqua and Island were thrilling and you don't have to queue for slides either. Lifeguards seem to watch the slides when it pleases them and also close the slides at a time that suits them - one day the slides got closed 20 mins early! The food served in the restaurant is not catered for the English guests and multiple foods are leftovers from the night before. Not all food is labelled and there are no signs within the restaurant regarding allergy information. When queuing for food, be wary of your surroundings as there are multiple queue-jumpers and staff do not intervene. Most people in our group ended up eating chips or spaghetti - this is very disappointing when you are on holiday and pay for an all-inclusive package. Most all-inclusive have ice cream available all day or majority of the day, at Eftalia you are able to get a packaged ice cream (with chocolate and hazelnuts so not allergy friendly) for 2 hours of the day and that’s it. Waffle station, chicken and doner stands on Eftalia Island do nice food so you can enjoy something for lunch - I would advise anyone to fill themselves up at lunchtime when these places are open as you may not eat at dinnertime. Cocktails are made by bar staff who have no knowledge on the cocktails they are making and these come at an additional cost of €6 each - they are NOT in the all-inclusive package. The staff that serve alcohol that’s included in the all-inclusive will not serve anyone in a child’s wristband, yet if you go to the cocktail bar they are more than happy to serve people wearing childrens wristband as it means taking their money. Fresh orange juice at breakfast is also at extra cost. The all-inclusive drinks consists of local spirits, wines, beer, soft drinks, very sour juice and bottled water only. The spirits are watered down. The juices are very sour and they need to be watered down. The reception staff are friendly when they are getting your money (paying to upgrade room) but as soon as you have a complaint they are not interested. The entertainment was nothing special each night and the day time activities were the same each day - the posters around the resort have incorrect times and activities so do not rely on these when planning your day. Jade from guest relations had an AirPod in while listening to our complaints and the staff do not care if something is wrong. We had to ask twice for extra bedding - this should have been sorted the first time. If you ask Jade for any information about any excursions she isn’t interested and only gave us information that the town isn’t far away, you learn more from the guests staying at the hotel about what you can do outside of it than the hotel staff. There is a market on a Sunday outside the hotel. Osman, who works on the front desk, started a conversation with another guest mid-conversation and also answered the phone to someone else mid-conversation. He also told us that we were labelled as 'guests who complain about everything' on their computer system. He had been cursing in Turkish and had also punched a door. We had kids kicking our doors and running away - this was reported and security caught the people responsible for this quickly. Eftalia Island was slowly closing down and Aqua resort planned to close on Friday, we were booked until Sunday. Because of this, as well as the massive disappointment with food and entertainment, and cold pools, we moved hotel. It is massively disappointing that the food is terrible and the staff are so unhelpful and rude because the hotel building is beautiful! I will never be visiting any of the Eftalia resorts again, even if someone payed me too.…

Just returned from a 10 night stay from oct 22nd-nov 1st, thankfully the weather was brilliant 27-28d everyday so that really did help as the pools were very cold for our 2yr and 10yr old kids. Let me start by saying we did have a good time you couldn’t fault the hotel or island area for things to do and see, some of the island especially is beautiful but it’s probably the worst all inclusive hotel I’ve stayed at for so many things not included within the “all-inclusive” Before we arrived we knew what to expect to a degree from reading all the reviews as you’re doing now, but once you’re actually there you realise no matter how much you say to yourself before you go that you’re not going to spend extra money it’s almost impossible not to they really know what they are doing. Ice-cream,orange juice, cocktails, all kids night time entertainment apart from the mini kids disco was chargeable even if you asked for an iron in your room it was 1 euro per night haha. We booked a family 2 bedroomed room which of course on arrival we were told if we wanted to upgrade to a bigger one it would cost £150 but he could do it for £100 as a “special” price! We went to our original room which to be honest was absolutely fine but I was intrigued to see the other so asked to see it and to be fair it was absolutely massive compared and also had a sea view so paid the £100. The only draw back was the duel carriage way that’s between the hotel and the sea it’s honestly so loud through night I had to wear ear plugs every night to get to sleep. Food was ok, not amazing but we did find something to eat , drinks were so watered down so don’t come here to get drunk. The hotel is not 5 star by any means it’s probably 3-4 star in all honesty, we paid £2500 through on the beach for 4 of us in half term with a private transfer I wouldn’t pay anymore that that if I were you. A great place to go with the kids. The hotel is great. We upgraded our room on arrival which was fairly reasonable to do. The room was good, clean and with a good view of the pool and the sea. The Aqua park was fantastic. The slides were great and my son loved them. The Eftalia Island was amazing.......so much to do and spending a full day there was easy, fun and great experience. The aqua park was even better with bigger slides. The food at the hotel was Ok, good quality for all inclusive. The staff at the hotel were amazing. Notably, one of the waiters who played with my son every time. Also, the lifeguard around the pool was fantastic and made my son's holiday. We even witnessed the lifeguards going above and beyond to help a disabled gentleman on the slides, it was great to see. The evening entertainment on the whole was very good. Some evenings it was a bit naff, but my son loved the mini disco. One thing we didn't really understand was that the slides at the hotel and on the Island closed for a couple of hours in the afternoon and when it reopened, some of the slides didn't. Not sure why they did this. Overall, a fantastic holiday. We read some of the reviews before going and was a little apprehensive, but after returning I can only conclude, the negative reviewers were talking about a different hotel. Still here after booking an 11 night stay with my husband, 2 teenagers and my parents. Excellent accommodation, spotless and everything you could need in the room for your holiday. The food is excellent on site, lots of choice in the main restaurant. Plus amazing freshly cooked pizzas in the hotel snack bars, free ice cream lollies between 2-4 each day. All inclusive is available 24 hours per day. The alcohol choice is limited and those that frequent Spain will find it disappointing at first, but the odd purchase of nice cocktails quickly helps you get over this. The hotel offers access to a choice of Al cart restaurants which we found disappointing. The hotel has its own water park which is excellent and the overall feel of the hotel is that is is better than the 3plus stars it’s awarded from jet2 holidays. The best part is the island access that’s included. It’s not an island it’s a private strip that runs along the beach that is accessed via an underpass under the road. The choice of eateries including freshly cooked chicken wings, kebabs, waffles, burgers available until 4pm each day which is excellent, Be careful that the holiday company you book with gives you free alcohol included on the island. This was our first ever all inclusive holiday.. We had some positive experiences and some very negative ones.. The first question is what does ultra all inclusive mean.. Surprisingly not actually what you think, expect to spend a 100 euros a day being nickel and dimed for 3 people and that's saying no a lot of times to a child, even orange juice is charged. As parents we actually lost weight with the repetition of the same meals every meal time meaning we just couldn't eat it, when a jacket potato is like a luxury meal, you know somethings wrong. If it wasn't for our 6 year liking the pools and slides, we'd of absolutely hated it. However it went downhill as a barman assaulted our child, threw him in the pool and onto the concrete side of the pool and into water out of his depth, the lifeguard dragged him out, the barman ran away.. We thought he just had bruising on his legs, elbows and chest from being thrown into the side of the pool, however on flying home, he cried on the plane about his chest so at Istanbul we took him to the hospital where x-rays have confirmed he has 2 broken ribs. I spoke to the barman at the time after we'd comforted our child, who couldn't care and thought it was funny and the lifeguard also just shrugged his shoulders. I went to reception to be told there was no manager until 8pm, I went to see the manager around half 8, he said he'd look at the cameras and pass it on and to come back and see Jade from guest relations in the morning after 11, I came at 12 and spoke with Jade, however they'd been to busy to care about the guests and she would discuss with the general manager shortly, I went back around 4.30pm and spoke to Jade again, basically the general manager couldn't be bothered and passed it onto the restaurant manager who was starting at 7pm and they would be sitting down with the barman then, As the said barman was working in the main buffet restaurant when we got there at around half 6 we sat near where he was standing and having a good laugh with his mates, in fact he didn't actually do any work. We stayed sat in the restaurant watching him to see if any manager came and spoke to him, surprisingly they didn't and we had no belief that they were ever going to as they kept passing the buck, over 28 hours later and they'd not even discussed the incident with the barman.. I think that makes it very clear what they think of the guests.. There is no guest relations.. To be fair, we weren't nickel and dimed at check in, although we were given a tiny basement family room with no balcony, however this was changed when a room was available the next day without charge. Reading the reviews of this place, I think you should exclude the 1st time reviewers who think some team members are amazing and how great it is, these are all clearly self reviews. Personally as parents we didn't like it, our 6 year old loved the pools and us spending over 100 euros a day on his extras, if it wasn't for him being assaulted we might have even come back, however we booked a cheap ultra all inclusive and ended up paying more than you would at an upmarket hotel or all inclusive.. Adding on the 5000 tlr for hospital in Istanbul and rebooking flights for a day later plus a night's hotel at another 7000 tlr, this actually turned out to be our most expensive European holiday we'd ever had.. I think the real issue is, as long as this poor hotel is full, which it always is, why should they care what the guests think, there will be many more like us who will book now, regret later.. To ba absolutely clear and so no element of doubt, the only people's names we knew was Jade at guest relations after being told her name and the barmans name who assaulted our child.. there was no other amazing entertainment team members or anyone else. Also you can get much faster service around the bars if you don't have the adult Blue/Aqua bands on your arm, so it seems as we always had to go to the bar ourselves. …

I like the hotel good A friendly staff and Speedy Murat was special and he was good entertainment team The hotel is super and the rooms are clean and the slides are amazing the Eftalia island is super and a lot of things you can do .hundred percent recommend Eftalia Aqua is the best hotel and we are very happy and thank you for all staff we will come back again next year
