Chateau L'Age Baston

L'Age Baston is a beautiful, friendly Chateau in South West France that provides relaxing holiday courses. Once home to generations of Counts and Countesses, it soaked up sunshine and history for over seven hundred years and then 'fell to the English'. The owners; Alexandra and John, breathed new life back into the house. Saving, restoring and creating an idyllic setting for our unique combination of holiday courses in France. You can come on a Painting course or improve your French Language with one of our two French Language Courses. Enjoy a week learning about French Country Cooking (and eating and drinking), or stride off on Guided Walks into the clean air and green of the Charente Countryside.

I fell in love wth the L'Age Baston 'experience' the first time I visited in 2016 to learn more about art from my teacher Jenny Halstead, who is one of the great tutors who comes to the chateau through the May-October season. The comfort and peace, the food and drink you are
