Or maybe, situation, beautiful situation. Or cosy, so very cosy. Or maybe service, understated, attentive, never imposing service. It's an isolated wee island, the setting feels like being in Lord of the RIngs. Those of us lucky to sail out in our boats can see an ever changing marine landscape with views of the Black Cuillins of Skye, seen between... More

We sailed two yachts ( nine crew in total) to the Isle of Muck and visited the Port Mor for a drink, the hotel is really comfortable, relaxing and the hosts most welcoming. We arranged to return for breakfast the next day and enjoyed a fabulous spread featuring the hotel's own homemade sausages, jams , breads and scones plus delicious... More

Just returned from another three night stay at this hotel while diving the Small Isles. The weather was gorgeous all weekend so we saw the island, and all the surrounding land - Rhum, Eigg, Canna, Ardnamurchan to Knoydart, Skye and Coll. Again we had sole use of the hotel. Simple comfortable rooms. Fantastic cooked breakfasts and packed lunches. Food again... More

Stayed here with 9 friend on a Small Isles long weekend diving trip. 3 nights B&B. Got to the harbour at Muck on the diveboat. Toby & Mary run the Port Mor Hotel on Muck. He met us with a trailor on his quad and took our gear to hotel. Short walk to hotel and we picked our own rooms... More
