I stayed in the dorm so do not know about the cabañas, I image they were much more comfortable. The dorm was tiny. Floor, mattresses and windows were dirty. No kitchen acces so bring food ready to eat or pay a lot for meals there. The dorm was literally just 2 sets of uncomfortable bunk beds and a chair. Bathroom was...

The staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful, great tour guides. We had excellent meals and pisco sours. Despite rainy weather, we loved kayaking at dawn and got to see penguins as part of the adventure package for two. Wish I could have spent more time there!

This place is fantastic - pay no attention to the first impression you might have of overgrown grounds etc. Within the first five minutes we saw an endangered pygmy deer and her fawn and the reasons became obvious! In general you need to expect the obvious: toilets only flushed for solids, a ban on hair dryers, three minute showers etc,...

Spent three days exploring this stretch of coast along the island of Chiloe. The hosts are a great group and very helpful in making sure your experience is rewarding. Definitely take the 7km hike along the beach to the penguin colony - beautiful vistas and amazing wildlife. As a birdwatcher, this place has much to offer - with the river,...

This amazing little ecolodge is set very far removed from any tourist trail. Chepu is a very small town set on a beautiful river that flows into the ocean. the lodge itself is very modern and completely ecofriendly. they have solar panels for electricity, solar water heaters, and everything is grown and recycled there. Fernando is extremely helpful and wants...

We rented an eco lodge and used the kayak. The morning kayak trip through the sunk forest was magical, even daunting at times. The breakfast was really nice and the hosts delightful. They were really interested in explaining the history behind the lodge and how they make it work nowadays. The only downside was to get there: it was very...

Seemingly every business claims to be ‘eco-friendly’ these days. However Chepu Ecolodge truly employs sustainable practices (such as capturing rainwater to supply the entire lodge with water) without sacrificing comfort. I slept in a soft, warm bed and took hot water showers with good water pressure. Chepu is somewhat remote, presenting a chance to be close to nature without any...

We spent 3 days at the charming house Eco-Lodge Chepu run by Fernando and Amory and that faces the Puntra river, south from Ancud. We had booked their 2-days Adventure Package (including accomodation and kayak tour in the early morning). It was a wonderful stay: very welcoming and warmful hosts, lively and interesting discussions with Fernando, great food (not only...

Our visit to the Ecolodge is something we will not quickly forget. The hosts were very friendly and gave us an in-depth explanation of their sophisticated energy and water conservation methods. Smart and functional! After a nice dinner and a good night's sleep, we woke up (very) early for the treat that was our main reason to make the detour:...

A stay at Chepu Adventures will be a treasure. The place is beautiful and the couple that is hosting the lodge really know what they are doing. They've built an ecofriendly hide-out that you will immediately love. The kayaking at dawn trip is one to never forget. All highly recommended!!
