Moon rising over Scopello. La Tavernetta is a great place to stay. Has a restaurant, pool, orange trees, ping pong table outside, wi-fi, and close to a beach. The view of the Gulf, the old tuna factory, the mountains, change colors as the sun rises and sets. A clean, friendly place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here on a painting holiday for a week in October. Very helpful owner and lovely staff. Good rooms, both upstairs and down with private balconies. The food was excellent and varied. The garden has historic connections with Catherine of Aragon and some of the old olive trees could well be of that age. Good swimming...

Scopelo is the tiniest of villages about 1 hour from the Palermo airport. The town - not much more than a square or two is lovely, quaint and quiet. La Tavernetta is a wonderful hotel; the swimming pool and grounds are beautiful, the outdoor dining area overlooking the sea; the breakfast part of the fare, has every imaginable kind of...

We stayed here for 12 nights in September and it was perfect. Small Italian tourist hotel with comfortable rooms and modern well equipped bathrooms. Nice breakfast with outside terrace. But the best parts are the spectacular views of the Zingaro coastline and the stunning pool.

The hotel and adjoining restaurant were great. The staff's attentiveness was outstanding and the room was very nice. We stayed with our 18 month old daughter and everyone went out of their way to interact with her. I highly recommend this hotel the town and the beach in Scopello - which was concrete but had beautiful vistas and clear water...

One of the best comfortable, relaxing and welcoming family hotels we have ever stayed in over our many years of visiting Italy! Our room with power shower and terrace overlooked a very quiet side street and we were woken each morning with the sound of bird chorus. The restaurant was outstanding offering a wonderful choice of locally caught fish and sourced...

Stayed here for 3 nights . Beautiful location, with very well maintained gardens a good sized pool with plenty of sun beds & a stunning view. Our bedroom was a reasonable size with a view overlooking the bay. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfasts were good. Scopello is a unique place to stay either on route, or with a car....

This is a lovely hotel and the grounds and pool area are very nice plenty of loungers around the pool and chairs and loungers in the grounds on the grass area under olive trees. The room with full sea view have a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and along the coast to the Zingaro nature reserve. Breakfast, which is...
