Beautiful location; charming town with ample restaurants. Would return to La Tavernetta again but stay longer. The breakfast was ample including types of eggs, side vegetables, fruit, cakes, juices, and coffee or tea. An added bonus was finding Pepe's shop around the corner (up the slight hill) where he makes exquisite sandwiches. Nearby is Segestra, not to be missed.

Based on scouring through reviews on TripAdvisor and an investigating the hotel website, I decided this sounded like the perfect hotel for our family visit of six adults and one six year old child. I reserved rooms using the TripAdvisor link to Booking.com and paid upfront for nonrefundable rooms. After booking, I sent an Inquiry to ask about bed configurations...

FALSE AND MISLEADING REVIEW The Lady had reserved 3 double rooms per 6 guests trough Booking.com. After, she communicated that there is also a 6 years old little girl, who she would sleep in the parents' bed. In the section "general conditions of Booking.com" is clearly explained (in contrast to what the lady says in her review) that in these...

Friendly welcome. Lovely room with balcony looking down to the sea. Quiet in April but I guess when the temperature warms up then as the room is above the outside dining terrace it may not be so peaceful. Comfortable bed and good bathroom with lots of amenities. Nice to have free bottled water. Breakfasts have a good selection including make...

The location, grounds, view, staff and breakfasts were exceptional. The scenic water view & grounds set it apart from more 'formal' hotels, with ancient olive trees, nice flowers, terraced dining, and beautiful pool. A very nice and relaxing place to be. We opted for one of the ground level units around the corner from reception. We liked being in our...

This is truly an amazing place on Sicily. The most nice little place with a stunning view and fantastic atmosphere. I came with my daughter and we had a few nights in October. This is a place we will come back to.

Moon rising over Scopello. La Tavernetta is a great place to stay. Has a restaurant, pool, orange trees, ping pong table outside, wi-fi, and close to a beach. The view of the Gulf, the old tuna factory, the mountains, change colors as the sun rises and sets. A clean, friendly place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here on a painting holiday for a week in October. Very helpful owner and lovely staff. Good rooms, both upstairs and down with private balconies. The food was excellent and varied. The garden has historic connections with Catherine of Aragon and some of the old olive trees could well be of that age. Good swimming...

Scopelo is the tiniest of villages about 1 hour from the Palermo airport. The town - not much more than a square or two is lovely, quaint and quiet. La Tavernetta is a wonderful hotel; the swimming pool and grounds are beautiful, the outdoor dining area overlooking the sea; the breakfast part of the fare, has every imaginable kind of...
