We stayed at Banana Lodge for 4 nights in total. Anna was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and curiosities. Our room was very clean. We had a lot of space for our belongs. The view on the river is amazing too! The garden had a lot of bananas, pineapples and cacao plants.

This is great hotel to just get away, hide and relax. We stayed for 2 nights. The owners are wonderful hosts. Located on the river, nice place to go rafting or just take a dip in the cool water. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Screens on the windows with a nice breeze from the river at night. They... More

Highly recommended! A clean and charming lodge right on the river. The friendly owners offer tours down the river and chocolate demonstrations. You can hope into the river right out back for a swim, or walk five minutes into town and hang out with the monkeys at the beach. 25-30 minutes to Tena by bus, so not hard to find.... More

I stayed here with my mom and sister for two nights. We had an amazing time. The rooms are a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. Anne was very helpful in organizing tours, of which i would highly recommend. It is also right on the river with steps that lead from the property. They offer a good quality... More

This was a charming lodge. Clean, great beds, big showers and a fan. The owners were very nice. Walking distance into town where you can see the monkeys and take a canoe ride down the River. The breakfast was included and tasty.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Banana Lodge and wished that we could have stayed longer. We found Misahuali to be a pleasant base to explore the area and there is so much to do. The rooms were spacious, clean and the property right on the river is nicely landscaped with hammocks and chairs for relaxing.... More

Misahualli is at the western edge of Ecuador's Amazonian lowlands, situated where Rio Napo converges with Rio Misahualli. For my small group it was a starting point for our journey to a lodge farther downstream along the Napo, and Banana Lodge proved quite satisfactory for that purpose. It certainly is a nice fit in terms of price, and our two... More

Overall I think the banana lodge is a good place to stay in Misahualli. The rooms were relatively clean and comfortable based on the price paid per night. While the owners were nice, they weren't overly nice as we had read in some of the reviews. The property is nice as well. Also it's about a seven minute walk to... More
