An excellent accommodation with all amenities available including a warming cupboard to either warm your clothes before trekking out in the snow, or drying your snow gear after an adventure. Location was great with ski runs near by, restaurants and shops. With a kitchenette, and lounge area, the space was ideal for 2/3 people. Flooring is also heated making the cabin a cosy retreat. Virpi, the owner, was most helpful with suggestions and free car runs to the main Pyhätunturi hotel resort.
Wonderful location, wonderful hospitality, and really nice accommodations. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Everything you need right in the unit, plus a short walk to the town center with restaurants, a market, skiing, shops. It was really fantastic. Highly recommend staying here during your trip to Lapland!
This place is everything and more!!! Pure luxury from the get go. The beds are amazing, fluffy pillows and they are electric for putting your feet up or propping you up to see the fantastic northern lights through the glass roof. It is pure bliss to wake up to natures surroundings and snow so close, and being able to see it all without leaving your bed. The amenities are fantastic, wifi worked perfect, dishwasher, dryer, the tv you could screen mirror so you could watch whatever you liked from your phone. Customer Service is outstanding, from the moment I booked, to every single question I have asked. Thank you Pyha Igloos, Mervi and Pekka you are simply superb and we had an amazing stay.
We stayed for two nights in July and the experience was beyond expectations. The igloos were of course special as such but also everything related such as interior and dishes were very high quality Finnish design, special mention about the motorized high class beds! Altogether very detailed luxury accommodation held by super nice couple! 😊
One of the best places I’ve stayed. Love the scandinavian design interiors. Awesome bed. Really peaceful & quiet. If you’re in Pyhä to ski or snowboard, this is the perfect location. Would definitely come back.
The host, Art was so friendly and approachable; even made an effort to explain every single detail of the room to make sure we are well looked after despite just a one night stay. Extremely loved the cosy house which is warm and offers a nice scenery with the glass ceiling. It is also within short walking distance to the Pyha Luosto National Park.
Regardless of my late arrival, I was well settled with a warm greeting and detailed introduction by friendly staff. It is an absolutely stylish Igloo with elegant and smart design. A clothes drying hood gave much convenience. The breakfast is a great gift. You may taste reindeer meat in the material provided. You must love to stay on bed looking at the sky and scenery through the glass roof. It will surprise you with its adjustment function. Really, the whole area surrounding the Igloos is peaceful which allows you to enjoy every moment.
Came here with my partner during the low season (Oct'19). We were the only ones around - very quiet. Lovely customer service, attentive to everything & with perfect English. Haven't tried breakfast/lunch in the hotel complex but cooked ourselves - the little kitchen had everything we needed and even some food (instant noodles) + drink (tea, coffee) for us! They also kindly let us use the sauna and the amazing Jacuzzi as long as we wanted for the price of a single visit. Thank you very much for everything, this place is definitely run very professionally and with heart! Looking forward to the next visit, and will recommend Pyhä Igloos to my friends <3
We stayed in the lovely place for two nights and liked it very much. The location is perfectly situated for the walks in the national park and the room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would love to come back in winter!
Not a part of very famous destinations in Lapland, Finland, but definitely more beautiful than most of them.
