Detailed Reviews
Living in Yangon for a few weeks, it was my first time going for a beach getaway and I have been really impressed by the value for money of NSYC resort. First, the food is excellent (the seafood platter and the BBQ tiger prawns were to die for). Then, the staff is what makes this place fantastic, the service is super on point (I studies hospitality management in Lausanne 🇨🇭). I would like to mention 1)Nyein Chan Oo and 2)Pyae Phyo Aung at the pool bar. They are so friendly and pro. The room was ok for the price. The view was not the best eventhough I had booked a Deluxe with sea view. I guess because I booked last minute the very last room during a busy public holiday. The bathrooms could be upgraded (ex. Rain shower would be nice). They could also have a smaller menu for 24h room service (it stops at 10pm). All the rest was great. Infinity pool was perfect angle. The view is amazing. Cheers guys and see you soon!

This time, stayed there for four days. It was ine of great atmosphere. Been three times there. Everytime feels like coming back home. Staff are so friendly. Housekeeping staff are always active. House keeping manager: San Thida Aye is especially active, friendly and helpful.
Meals are also really good. Lots of things to choose at the breakfast from traditional dishes to the european foods.
Chefs are also really good, friendly and always ready to help with a big smile.
And this hotel is doing zero waste as well using almost no single use plastics plus composting with the kitchen wastes.
Gardeners growing lots of veggies, micro greens and hurbs in the compound. The compound is always covered with colourful flowers.
Wide swimming pool, spacious white sand private beach, and even bungalows with flower on the roof ( garden roof). When yoy look at them from the lobby, you'll see as flower hills.
Looking for a place to stay clean, quiet, peaceful, spacious with both swimming pool and beach, great attendance by the staff at the bar and restaurants, full security, feeling like home?
This is the place for you to stay. Really recommended.

Highly recommended! Ngwe Saung Yacht Club is a great location for a seaside getaway from Yangon; or for international visitors looking for seaside break coupled with local culture. Excellent quality of accommodation (stayed in the Villa room which was well worth it); and friendly, helpful staff with excellent English. The food was spectacular, and I was surprised to find the night club downstairs busy and with great music.
We ate fresh caught fish - sashimi and grilled - and learned that a 30kg+ Spanish Mackerel was caught just off the resort by one of the guests that day.
Will certainly be back.

So many verity of breakfast buffet and lunch and dinner are very nice. One thing I surprised was drinking water is no need to buy.All building has lot of purified water cooler machine.

+1
We spent a family holiday at the Ngwe Saung Yacht Club Resort for 3 nights this April.
Despite the Hype, NSYC turned out to be a lackluster. It seems the resort tried too much of everything but failed to deliver in each category.
The only perks were the expansive infinity pool and the impressive garden decorations.
Service was significantly inferior compared to its competitors like Aureum Palace and Bay of Bengal. The staff barely smiled at guests and would not respond whenever we attempted to greet them a "hello" or "good morning."
Breakfast was repetitive. Food was subpar. Even Myanmar cuisine lacked seasoning. I could not tolerate the Western dishes at all due to lack of flavour. The only saving grace was the Omelette station.
Plenty of mosquitoes in the bedroom. Though I understand that insects may be outside the hotel's control, it also highlights the importance of regularly draining and replacing the stagnant water from ponds in the Garden. The pond water appears soiled and lets off a foul odour. Judging from the swarms of mosquitoes above the surface, it's obvious that the water is harbouring mosquito eggs and larvae.
I was utterly disappointed to discover that the staff at the Day Spa offered a "Happy Ending Service." For a place that advertised itself to be grand and luxurious, one would expect its staff to act accordingly. Even after I refused this Service at the spa, the therapist continued to insist. I understand that times are difficult and people want extra money but offering this service at a facility like NSYC is incomprehensible. I will never visit this spa again in any location.
Overall, NSYC is only a shell of its former glory. Staff needs re-training. The pond water needs replacing to remove the swarms of mosquitoes. Food needs innovation. The price needs to be adjusted to reflect what the hotel actually offers compared to what's advertised. I hope the hotel tries to improve base on customers' feedback.

We have visited to Ngwe Saung Yacht Club and Resort and stayed there for 2 night with friends. NSCY is a bit far away from Ngwe Saung village but I can guarantee that it is worth for those who wanna stay in beach peacefully. All hotel services (From Front Office, F&B to House keeping services) are exceptionally great. Though we have stayed in our affordable budget rooms, they gave us equal premium hotel services offering to premium guests. Staffs are seeking to help all the guests like their family members with big smiles all the time. The hotel compound is very wide with full of colorful flowers and there is even small but various vegetable farm in front of our rooms (You can even ask the staffs about flowers if you are interested in flowers). What I love most with this hotel is there are so many colorful buildings and naturally decorated (Surf themes) places within hotel compounds, highly recommend to take beautiful photos with your friends and families in those areas. Special thanks to Ko Chan Nyein, Ko Pyae Phyo and other front office staffs, Ma San Mya Thida, Ma Pyone, Ko Nyi Nyi Lwin and Ma Ni Ni Win for all the exceptional housekeeping services and sharing knowledge on some beautiful flowers to our friends. We will surely come back again to this home alike hotel when we have time.

It is 4th time for me staying at Yatch Club.
Pleasant resort ever in Ngwe Saung Beach.
Room are very neat and tidy even wide enough and having good swimming pool.
Especially you can have very very good dinning and breakfast , delicious seafoods on europian , chinese and burmese style cooking.
Among here I would like to say thanks to Mr Soe Min who is Sous Chef of Yatch Club as well as a perfect and kind chef ever for gusts.
Food prices are fair enough for a 5 stars hotel.

One of the best resort at Ngwe Saung Beach. Take the villa room and you will never regret. It is by the beach, you can hear the sound of the sea waves, direct sea view, beautiful sunset. The villa is spacious with living room and bedroom, spacious shower room and toilet, clean and well maintained. The staff are well trained, everyone we encounter wish us, helpful and smile. The breakfast was international buffet breakfast with local food. Among the few resort breakfast, this is the best as most resort here served local breakfast only. The landscape is well maintained. The new restaurant called Surf Point has a beautiful bar, music, good service and food, on the roof top of the bar have bean bag seating overlooking the sea.
We love the pool and the beach as the sea water is not salty, nice to swim and not deep. The pool has the best view of sunset, while in the pool, you can enjoy cocktail and watch sunset! The hotel owns the beach and they have life guards at the beach to watch out for you. You don’t see outside people selling you items here.
Will definitely come back and stay here again

I stayed 3 nights in that hotel Villa Room. The hotel is located in quite place like a private beach.
infinity pool and white sand beach are really fantastic and there is a kid zone near by the infinity pool. That is really helpful for us who came with family.
Staff's hospitality is remarkable. The room is very clean and they are keeping good housekeeping standard. Breakfast is very delicious and can choose the variety of food. Dear Shwezinhs, Sorry that I do not have any specific room no to suggest but if u would like to have sea view rooms, I would say the sea view Bungalow would be the nice ones.
Dear SIR,
There will be only charter flight available from Yangon airport to Pathien. However after you landed the airport you will need to drive with another 1.5 hours to reach the resort. so better recommend you to drive directly from Yangon to NS. total drive will be only 5 hours.
Regards,
NSYC & Resort.
