VILA VITA Pannonia ****

32 spacious doublerooms, eight elegant suites, 127 reed-roofed bungalows, own Csarda typical for the region, a chapel loved especially by wedding couples and a wide range of leisure activities: The Hotel and leisure resort VILA VITA Pannonia in the ,,Seewinkel" (= lake filled corner of Burgenland) leaves nothing to be desired.

After driving a mere 80 kilometers out of Vienna one reaches the 200 hectare natural paradise in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage area Ferto- Lake Neusiedl and one abruptly forgets one's stress and daily grind. Regardless whether in one of the many sports activities, in the extensive spa and sauna park, in the first class in-house restaurants or the cellars filled with excellent wines - from the very first minute onwards here, comfort is of primary importance.

Everything is moving.

Cycling in open countryside is just one of the many possibilities for you to take part in sports during your vacation. Our own lake for swimming with its fine sandy beach invites you to do some lengths or simply to paddle, while a riding stables, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, two beach volleyball courts, a football field, and the possibility to do archery or mini golf in open countryside, guarantee to keep the boredom at bay. 50 Kilometres of running tracks and a 2,300 meter long Finnish running track with its Tree-bark chipping surface have their enthusiastic followers just as much as the fitness centre with its most modern Techno-gym equipment or the spectacular high- wire climbing garden, hanging eight metres above the ground with varying ropes and beams to teach yourself trust and body control.

Relaxation for body ,spirit and soul.

Whoever seeks quiet and recuperation after so much sport will find it quickly in VILA VITA: the Spa awaits with its inner pools and whirlpool island, heated outdoor pools with waterfall cliffs, Ice grotto and 'stork bath' for the youngest guests. It gets really relaxing in the Birch- and Reed-hut saunas, complete with the neighbouring 300 square metre natural swimming pond (of which 100 square metres have a swimming zone up to 2m deep), and noble sauna house. Tanning yourself on the desert sands in the 'Karawanserei' and being pampered in the beauty farm, the Hair salon or the massage - studio make the comfort experience perfect.

Wellbeing for the palate.

Wellbeing for the palate awaits the guests of the resort in the Restaurant-complex. While the VITATELLA offers enticing creations in an elegant atmosphere, with regional as well as international cuisine, in the buffet - restaurant VITAVESTA dishes are prepared whose origins definitely come from the surrounding area: Greybeef from the National park or fish from the local waters producing delicacies hardly comparable.

Perfect relaxing for a one night stay during a bike trip. We are 4 persons and booked a Bungalow. Nice lake to cool down after our bike tour and an excellent restaurant DIE MÖVE for dinner. Really a top location in Burgenland.

The Spa, Sauna and Wellness areas are incredibly beautiful and make you feel well pampered. Unfortunately for a price tag like this, you’d expect amazing food and it was just a little better than at any Austrian highway rest stop.. that is truly a pity!

We can recommend this hotel. for everyone. Especially the bungalows are a very fine öocation to stay. The restaurants offer a good and diversified selection. For shopping it takes some time to reach the next shopping center.

The hotel is probably mostly concentrated on groups and events, not much of the typical Austrian hospitality. Our room was on the ground floor, very small and the standard does not correspond with the room price at all.
The food quality in the restaurant was mediocre, the breakfast was cleaned up on the minute, when it was supposed to finish without asking the guests if they would like to have something before its gone, coffee was terrible and the question to have a real espresso was not appreciated by the staff. The SPA was OK, but again below our expectations, the so called "Kervanserei" is like a joke, we have never seen something so artificial and strange.
The result of all above mentioned, is that we will never come back and that we will advice our friends to find something better...

Vila Vita Pannonia is very beautiful located in a mixture of authentic natural landscape and a wineries.
The atmosphere and the staff are very warm. The hotel is clean with a good restaurant. The food is excellent, mostly organic, with a lot of juices, fruits, local food and of course the excellent local wine.
The SPA is good taste arranged and nice: a swimming pool with a beautiful view, jacuzzi, and several different saunas.
I spent only one night, but sure are needed several days to discover most facilities form Vila Vita Pannonia, a mixt between Austrian warm rigor and Hungarian lifestyle.
I recommend this to families, children, but also for business meetings.

Thank you very much for the recommendation of our hotel. We are really honored that you express the amenities of our area in such a positive way. As you mentioned the style of our hotel, you are right, it is rather hungarian influenced. We call it the "Pannonia Style" - the local speciality is the construction of the roofts with reeds as main material. Our traditional kitchen represented through one of our restaurants, called Csarda, is the best example for this overall architectural impression. We love to see you again in the near future. With kind regards, the clean-living VILA VITA Pannonia-Team

This is a place I would take my family. It was not the place to do a business conference. for families, it has cute bungalows (although no amenities -- you better bring your groceries with you -- the store is only open a few hours every day and everything is extremely expensive), wonderful walking trails, a superb sauna and spa, free bicycles to ride, and lots of activities for children. They do have a very nice wine cellar and excellent advice on the wines,
It is not the place to have a business conference. They do not understand the needs of businesses nor conferences. The work we were doing required three different rooms, all of which were available in one building. Instead of accommodating us, they put us in three different rooms, in three different buildings, with only one coffee break area (very important in business conferences) that was farthest away from all the other areas. Their poor planning almost totally undermined the entire conference. The names of the rooms are awkward, the room layouts not helpful, the service was OK (very nice, but it took 2 days to get someone to fix the air conditioning in my conference room). True conference hotels have a manned service center with printers, etc. This place only has the front desk, manned by very nice people with extremely limited English. For example, it took me 25 minutes to check out one morning -- longest time ever, and looking at my reviews you will see that I stay in hotels around the world.
The food is OK, its not world class, and the prices are high for its position in the industry.
Overall, take your family, but not your business.

"There is a choice of Bungalow rooms or normal rooms in the main building. The Bungalow rooms are more expensive but you have to walk quite a long way (outside) to reach the wellness. In the winter months I wouldn't recommend it. The normal rooms are more than fine."
