We stayed here for a weekend and it was incredible. The b&b is beautiful, tucked away in the countryside but only a 15 minute drive into Shrewsbury. The rooms are shabby chic in style with a wonderfully welcoming lounge. Breakfast is amazing, cooked by the very talented chef Marcus. We received a wonderfully friendly welcome by the family throughout our stay....

I attended the 2 hour Knife Skills class in the evening at Brompton and thoroughly enjoyed the session. The instructor Marcus was friendly, welcoming and provided really clear instructions for each item we prepared. The instructions were very hands on and you get plenty of time practising the skills Marcus demonstrates in the session, the class size is small so...

Lovely people and a beautiful setting. Some things could be improved to make it 5 stars. The TV was very small and worked infrequently. Mattress was very noisy. Only one hard chair to sit on in the spacious bedroom but a lovely room downstairs if we wanted to socialise. They were very helpful and friendly.

We broke up a long journey and stayed one night at this National Trust B & B. Not cheap, but so peaceful. The only noise we heard during the night was an owl hooting. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts could not do enough for us. The open fire in the guest's lounge was very welcoming even though it was...

I was bought a day's cookery experience at the cookery school on site, as a gift, which was my reason for staying there. I stayed for one night, but would loved to have stayed longer. The house is in a lovely setting. Set in the countryside, it has a very relaxed atmosphere. I sat in the garden on a warm...

Stayed here to treat the wife on our anniversary, we were not disappointed beautiful rooms and an excellent breakfast sets you up for exploring Shrewsbury which is well worth a visit, as is the Ironbridge and its museums. The b&b is a little off the beaten track but makes up for that with its peaceful tranquil surroundings would certainly recommend...

Lovely farmhouse, peaceful and relaxing with views across open countryside. Our room, The Ironbridge, was spacious and comfortable. The new tenants were friendly and welcoming and have plans to redecorate and improve the house. Breakfast was delicious.

Brompton Farmhouse is right in the middle of the country, a very rural spot, The house is gorgeous and very very peaceful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was superb. We were made to feel very welcome.
