A hidden gem on top of the mountain, surrounded by beautiful nature. Our room was big, clean and bright. The interior was old-fashioned but charming. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the down pillows and quilts. The bathroom was clean as well. However, the sound insulation could be better. We enjoyed the fresh and healthy food at the dining area. The food selection was diverse and the service was good. What we enjoyed the most was the wellness area. It was quiet and relaxing. We loved the hay sauna and the herbal steam bath. Overall all, the experience was comfortable and luxurious. We will definitely come back and stay a few more nights in a different season. We will also recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Perfect from beginning with breakfast to dinner in the evening, we spent a few days there at Easter and it was great. The food selection is fantastic with the various choices at lunch time and the menu in the evening. The rooms towards the mountains at a slightly higher price have a lovely view. The wellness area is very nice, not too big and even during Easter holidays never crowded, eventhough the weather was not too good. The only minus is for the Wifi, that only works in the Lobby.

If you want to relax for a weekend and have some quiet time and eat very well, this is a great place to come. The rooms headed towards the mountain range are beautiful are recommeded since otherwise (for the cheaper rooms) you will be facing the valley road... which has some traffic in the morning. The food Slection and diversity would be a reason to come, as well as the sauna area looking over to the Santis and the lake. The sauna, pool and outside whirlpool are nicely designed with a outside area to walk around in. The customer service was friendly and it has a traditional setting.mIt would be neat if they could turn this into a boutique hotel and add a a few nauences and intermingly corners. Like implementation tapas and sherry in room to have the guests mix and mingle.

the choice of this hotel was been obligated, because I was looking for a hotel near Friedrichshafen, but caused Fakuma trade, I booked a room for 2 days 50km far away.....and this is been the best choice!!! The rooms are very confortable, large and quiet. The reasturant is wonderfull...high quality of food, the waiters are very nice and available, from the restaurant the panorama is beautifull. The wellness rooms are large, the service is perfect...pool room very large, 2 saunas at different temperature, 1 turkish bath and 1 big whirlpool outside with hot water so you can relax and delight in the mountains!!!

One of the best views ever. Excellent hotel, large room and balcony. You pay half board and you get free lunch. Not just a salad,a real buffet with deserts included. And very tasty. We loved the terrace of the restaurant, gives you a real holiday feeling. Half board dinner was excellent. We didn't try the wellness. We stayed only two days and played the golfcourses of the region Vorarlberg.

Along with my wife and friends, we spend two winter holidays (New Year Eve) at this lovely hotel. In both holidays we felt wonderful and away from any problems. The hotel is few kilometres from the village and it is very peaceful, clean and lovely food. The spa and the outdoor hot jacuzzi worth to pay a visit and to sit covered with steam and overlooking the Alps (at - 20 Celsius grade). This year we shall try the second hotel owned by same family, located in the same area (Dornbirn, Austria). Hopefully we shall not be dissapointed.

We've been guests of this hotel for spending the New Year holiday . A liitle bit somehow isolated ( you'll need to rent a car ) , the property is offering good services and a place to relax - I recommend also their SPA center .In the small village of Sulzberg you have to go for a lunch or dinner at Gasthof Alpenblick - don;t miss their apfel strudel !!!! I recommend to rent a car and to visit Lindau / St. Gallen / Vaduz and even St. Moritz and Davos .
