I'd call this good rather than average but not quite very good... There are not a lot of hotels in Chamrousse so you don’t have a lot of choice. This hotel has had some recent refurbishment and the windows, beds and bathroom ware are new. They gave us a family room for 2 sharers, plenty of space and a good...

Okay, some good and bad points! We stayed here for a weeks skiing holiday during Feb 2014. The staff are very welcoming and friendly (incl. the dogs!) David was kind enough to give us a lift to our transfer location on our last day. The rooms are small, but after a long day on the slopes a bed is all...

What can I say? From the day that we booked Barbara and her colleagues were more than helpful in response to every question we had. We were a team of 34 cyclists and support. I have never in years been greeted by such an amazing and laid back welcome! They werent even stressed that we were arriving 2 people every...

My husband and I stayed at Auberge du Virage as part of a 3 day end of season ski package in March 2012. If you are just looking for a base for skiing, then this place is perfect for you! It's basic but comfortable. Breakfasts were great! A selection of cereals, croissants and bread as well as tea and coffee....

Stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year so room v. expensive. The hotel (if you can call it that - it's actually more like a hostel) is too far from the slopes to walk, so you need to take your car. Problem is, the hostel only has two parking spaces! Alternatively, you can take the free shuttle...

Had a fantastic time in Chamrousse staying at Auberge du Virage... We found our hosts, David and Barbara extremely helpful and friendly. Chamrousse is a very French Ski Resort, and being a non French speaking Australian, it was very helpful to have hosts who not only spoke English, but wen't out of there way on several occasions to make sure...
