The hotel is located in a lovely bay far from touristic routes and it is just in front of the sea! Rooms are renewed and clean...ask for the ones viewing the sea! Free wifi in the entire place. You can enjoy a buffet dinner for 25€ plus beverages and it is worthed (moules with frites suggested). A beautiful beach is...

If you like to stay in a secluded area, not too far from a city (in this case Ajaccio), and be on the waterfront, this hotel is for you. We booked two rooms at Marina di Lava for four nights while exploring the area and we had breakfast included in our stay. Our rooms were nice and quiet, with a...

We planned a mini tour of Corsica for our first visit flying Ryanair from dublin to Brussels and then onto Figari, hiring a car at the airport and taking in three hotels, first The Hotel Shegara in Porto Vacchio (230 euros for two nights without breakfast) before overnighting here at the Marina di Lava for 120 euros with booking.com incl...

We stayed here for our last night when visiting Corsica in August. I chose this hotel/ resort due to its location close to the airport. The room we got was small, but just all we needed, clean and comfortable, with nice bathroom and AC. We spent the day on nearby beach and enjoyed good dinner in the restaurant. The area...

Nice place to relax but not an impressive restaurant, uninspiring food. Rooms were dirty and the bed was with hard springs. Internet did NOT work in our room but in some of the other rooms. unfriendly receptionist when we told about the dirty room and lack of internet. The bay was quiet and water clear which made our stay more...

The hotel is in a great location with magnificent views. The bay is lovely and surrounded by small mountains (?large hills). It is a very beautiful and remote location with only a small shop/cafe nearby and accessed via a twenty minute drive down a narrow, winding road. However, the hotel was very disappointing. The food was our main area of...

Our visit here did not do the place justice, as we arrived late and left early. The hotel is made up of many buildings and for some reason we were put in one of the farthest away. That was a pain when unloading bags but later it turned out we could park very close by. Our room did have A/C...

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. Can't say too much that hasn't already been said. The location is excellent although as it's so nice there were a lot of day trippers and the beach got quite busy. There is a holiday village in the hills to the side of the bay and there was a constant stream of people...

You should not expect too much of the room, it is very clean but no decoration at all. No coffee pot or frig or hairdryer, but the bed is comfortable and the shower works nicely, The best thing about this place is its localization, directly on the beach of De Lava Bay. It is quite near from Ajaccio so if...

“The rooms are in blocks, almost barrack style. Some of the rooms are on an upper level. We had a "superior" room which was ground floor and close to the beach. Didn't see inside a normal room but got the distinct impression it had been worth the extra money.”
