The hotel itself is ok, it has a ski room which is big and useful. Unfortunately, the staff was very rude to us and they did not make us feel comfortable. We stayed there for one week and we booked breakfast and dinner. The dinner was great, but they did not provide water... very unusual. The breakfast is limited and no hot food (e.g. omelettes), even though we kindly asked the host to prepare something for us, a group of 14, but we were ignored. I would not recommend it and I would not return to this location in the near future.

We went there with a group of 4 for dinner. The atmosphere of the is typical Austrian (wooden ceiling, cozy tables and lots of padded animals). The staff is friendly and quick, although she doesn't speak German that well. However, her friendly and helpful atmosphere didn't make use bother about the language barrier. The ordered food came quickly and it was very good. The fries and baked potatoes were hot, the vegetables/salads fresh and the meat superb. The choice of drinks is good. All prices are reasonable. There is free parking available, but you can also walk from Fügen (takes about 20 minutes). Definitely recommend this place!

As veterans of France we booked Austria this Christmas looking for the perfect Christmas getaway and introduction to winter sports for our young family and I think we found it! We'd been to Austria previously but to English ran accommodation in Wagrain and booked this full of hope but trepidation, would the hosts welcome the kids? Would they like the food? Would there be snow? Would we be able to get by with very little German? The hotel was perfect, the family who run it speak very poor English but much better than my 100 or so words of German and made every effort to make the hotel a real home from home. They really went the extra mile which is important when travelling with a young family (4, 3 and under 1). Many of the clientele were return visitors and I can really see us returning next Christmas. Slightly critical but family room could do with bathroom updating, that's only criticism really. The staff are wonderful and very well located as a base to explore the Ziller valley.

Very good position (there is a shuttle bus stop right to the hotel entrance), excellent food, friendly staff, good prices. Very good choice, we recommend it. The only warrant - the stuff is german speaking only. No any Internet access.

The service and meals were very good. The house has an elevator and a parking lot big enough. House red wine should be tasted!
