A good, standard, safe hotel with the basics. The rooms are clean and tidy. The internet connection can be a bit spotty in the rooms, but it usually worked in the lobby. The restaurant was ok-- there was a nice breakfast spread but the options in the evening can be a little limiting, especially for vegetarians. (You may need to...

It had the Protea name. But not the Protea standard. The mattress was not soft, the pillows were lumpy. The hot water supply was from a small heater. So you could not have a good long shower. Definitely not a bath. The cleaning staff were most inefficient and I found my pyjamas which I had left on my bed on...

I stayed here on and off for nearly 3 months in total! the staff are really whats great about this hotel, friendly, they remember you and go out of their way to give you a good stay. Compared to e.g. lagos protea, the room furnishings are dated and the food isn't so extensive in choice, BUT you get 2 litres...

To the Management and team, well done and thank you for a very pleasant stay. One of the most pleasant places to stay when in Abuja....

I arrived at the hotel without prior reservation and was given as only option a junior suite or presidential suite with the explanation that the hotel was full. having no other choice I took the first option. At full rate the room was very big, clean and ok but sooo expensive it left me feeling a little cheated. When I...

Protea is located in a strategic part of town within reach of the Police Headquarters. Business centres and a KFC near the hotel offer guests some alternatives to the food offered by the hotel. High speed Internet is available and for multiple devices which is quite impressive. The hotel could however improve on the fact that the kitchen offers limited...

Been coming to the Protea Asokoro for a few years now. The welcome is good, the reception staff are very pleasant. The rooms were very dated but were neat. The food was ok, not too special but ok. Location is very good making the hotel close the everything. A make over for the whole hotel is needed.
