No, your car will not be changed into some kind of pumpkin! But the village lightning goes off at that very moment, and it is pitch dark then (moonless night). It was my first visit, entered the car park just before midnight, all lights went off, and I could not see that the hotel is simply located on the other... More

I was part of a group participating in a painting workshop, based in Le Barroux. Most people stayed in Les Geraniums, and I saw one of their rooms, which was comfortable and well maintained. The en suite toilet and shower room wasn't very big, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. I can speak first hand of the meals and... More

Nice small hotel. The rooms are simple and the service is good. Food was excellent. This is the restaurant for the village with lots of locals eating there. It provided accommodation without any sense of luxury. The en suite in my room smelt of dirty drains which slightly pervaded the bedroom. Simple and ok. A good place for cycling up... More

The Geraniums is an old style hotel which is maintained in excellent condition. It has a lovely dining terrace and a secure parking area. Owner is very hospitable; what you would expect from a hotel catering to tourists.

Stayed here while hiking in the region. Basic rooms. Friendly service. Could do with some TLC and/or modernising. We were in a basement room - seemed a bit musty and was on the small side. Adequate...just.

Nestling on the hilltop, surrounded by cobbles, filled with old world charm, this is a fantastic place to find. Very traditional with great food & service with a genuine, professional proprietor.Quite romantic with fabulous views.

We were welcomed very kindly when we arrived, hot and exhausted after a day on the trail. The room was cozy, but with a wonderful view of les Dentelles and the rolling hills. The restaurant offered a solid regional dinner with very good service. Gorgeous patio and only a few steps from the heart of the spectacular but very quiet... More

It is a good setting but the food is really bad (my husband got sick), the rooms are old and the carpet needs to be replaced. The people who work there are nice. A disappointing hotel. We booked two days and left after the first night. We could not take the heavy air (maybe from the carpets).

My wife and children loved staying here. He we were extremely at ease in this quiet town and boutique hotel. The food was fantastic. The town and hotel feels like something from the film 'Chocolat' with Johnny Depp & Juliette Binoche. Loved it.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely little hotel while she attended a landscape painting workshop. The room was fine, and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were typically French/light. The dinners were four-course excellent. The staff indulged my broken French with good humor. And the owners, Hugh and Geraldine were gracious and very helpful. I will be back next... More
